@Storfiskarn24 We have tried this procedure. There are grates on the top and bottom of the cartridge so that even if you pierce a hole, you can't easily pour in the toner. Which is why we developed this drilling procedure instead.

@leandeganis This should go away on its own eventually. The best way to avoid those lines is to make sure to thoroughly clean out the cartridge before pouring in new toner, using compressed air if desired (carefully). Once the cartridge has been refilled, there is not much you can do to clean it.

@InkOwldotcom Thats true. And talking about the clt 407s, there is a LOT of caps that wont come out even if you pull really hard. They are like glued. So The way i found to do this is screwing a screw between the "X" of the cap and pulling it out with a clamp. It worked so far. Another question, what to do when the "roller" (i dont know the real name) doesn't paint itself with a smooth amount of tonner and you can see some no-toner lines on it? you have to clean it somehow?
@leandeganis If you empty the compartment well, you should be able to remove any plastic bits that may have entered. To be really thorough, you can use compressed air or a vacuum cleaner (but only when there is very little toner left inside). However, we don't recommend to do this unless you really cannot remove the caps.
are you sure that doesn't live plastic parts inside the toner? Idk if all the pieces come out with the ink or get stuck inside... anyways this is the easy way, because there are A LOT of caps that wont come out on clt 407s

One question, after what point is it absolutely necessary to take these steps versus just refilling the cartridge and putting a new chip in? Is it after two or three refills that you’ll need to start doing this type of maintenance? I have refilled all of our cartridges one time already and so far they’re still printing very well. I’m assuming at some point I’ll have to start taking them apart as shown in your video. .

Thank you for very informative video. I have a issue with these cartridges. I use original Samsung 504s toner cartridges but two of the cartridges not working properly. It seems like the issue is with the developer roller. the toner covered developer roller shows small lines throughout. when the print comes it shows lines full width of the paper parallel to the direction of the paper movement. I tried cleaning the rollers, doctor blades and sealing blades but no change. I have this issue for two toner cartridges. What is the reason for this? Is this a problem with "developer roller"? If so where can I buy developer roller?

Thank you for this useful video! But I faced the following issue. My clp-415nw printer has about 40% of toner and the cartridges are all original (bought with the printer). Recently it started to show red dirt on the prints - sometimes at the left side and sometimes on all the paper surface when the printed image contains red elements.
