The data you are giving on remanufactured toners is totaly INCORECT. Only OEM toners are remanufactured and the quality is 99.99% the same as OEM.
hmm. I refilled my HP toner so far around 6 times since 2012 and still work as new. The refill process is a little messy sometime and I rate the refill process complexity as 3 max on a scale from 1 to 10 . I wonder when it's going to fail

Refill won't wear the cartridge on expensive printers becouse they are just tubes with powder.

omfg guys....I didn't take the tape off the back of my new ink cartridge...that's why it wouldn't register.... I DIDN"T KNOW THERE WOULD BE TAPE THERE. HAHAHA.

Neither method worked on my HP. But, I switched the little chip from the original empty cartridge to the new (but unable to be read) cartridge and now it works again. I hade to turn off the machine and restart it. It reads that the cartridge is low in toner, but it accepted the new cartridge and it works!

Please change the title from, 'Cartridge Is Not Recognized - Solution!' to 'Laser Cartridge Is Not Recognized - Solution!'.  Wasted time waiting to see info about ink jet cartridges.

I had the toner light blinking on a Laserjet 1606dn and tried everything there is on the net - to no avail. Eventually I gave up pushing buttons and what not and went for the screwdriver. Before taking the thing apart, I had to remove all the paper from the tray and found that the lowest sheet of paper at the bottom of the tray was jammed. After removing that, the printer worked fine again. Why in the world does a sheet of jammed paper make the damn toner light blink?? HP mystery. Grrrrrrrrr.
