Nice video but totally unnecessary disassembly shown in video. For the d103 cartridge, simply remove the 3 rivets on the right side of cartridge(side without the gear). Pop off cover once rivets are cut off. Underneath you will see a recessed round plug. Gently pry out plug. Now you can refill in this hole. When finished filling, replace the plug. Then replace the cover. Reinstall in printer and enjoy your full cartridge.

Yes you do, otherwise the printer will simply not print.

Our paper instructions included in the kit do show how to empty the waste bin. We didn't include it in the video simply because in our experience it's not required the first time around. If you want a copy of our paper instructions, send me a private message, and I can send you a PDF.
