I have one of the older versions of this. Waaaaaay too long of a decay time to actually use it as a ride cymbal. I stuck like 3 moon jel to it and use it as a ride.

I have the 20 inch ZBT crash ride Doesn’t sound bad for a cheap cymbal. Has great wash articulation and Bell. I know every symbol is different in any line but you can find a gem!

I picked up one of these used in excellent condition. I was just looking for a backup ride that I could also use for a backup crash. I love the zildjian A custom crashes that I have but my ride and hats are B-12 alloy zildjians. I never pay attention to the prices of the cymbals. Because my kit is full of high-end Zildjian's mixed with some lower end. I honestly like zildjian's cheaper mastersound hi-hats better then the expensive one's. I really like the 22 inch Zildjian s ride that I have. But this zbt crash/ride didn't disappoint me. If I cracked one of my a custom crashes, I would use this one. Or I would use it as a ride if my 22 inch got cracked. For a grand total of $35 I'm that I found it.
Picked one of these up at a pawn shop for a pretty decent price but mine sounds a lot different. It's darker, has a lot less ring, and very full. Probably because it has the old, circular ZBT logo. Needless to say, I'm very surprised how good >mine< sounds. This one just sounds cheaper and has too many overtones.

You can beat the hell outta zbt cymbals and they hold up if there mic’d up right in a good sounding studio they sound great

I have been saying this for YEARS that not all "cheaper" cymbals are be honest every manufacturer of cymbals has a "affordable" line of cymbals that sound pretty freakin' good .I personally a pair of Sabian XS 14' hi hats . a XS 2'" ride and a 18" XS crash .so before you bash em crash em first

You could get away with everything but the ride. that’s the one cymbal you can’t cheap out on. A shit ride versus an intermediate priced ride is night and day
I love the ZBT series.There are cheap cymbals and then there are inexpensive cymbals and these are the latter.I love the crispness of the hi hats and the configuring tones that the 16inch and 18inch cymbals produce is 20 inch ride cymbal's bell cuts through the mix as well as any other ride out there.
Good cheap cymbal's to jam right away. ZBT!
Thanks for this video. Love the new ZBT series. I think the hihat is old one right? I own the new ZBT 18 China and 8 Splash and I love them. Now I am planning to buy the Complete pack in future.
