Great demo and nice playing! Man have the budget high hats ever come along way I thought they were all good I thought the ZHT’s were the best. Sabian was right there too.

The price is very diferent here in argentina...sabian xs compared with paiste is much more expensive
i’m honestly impressed by the paiste. they sound amazing open. like wow
I have always played Paiste and never felt the need for anything else. Don’t spend lots of money just because you can though I did once spend the best part of 200 notes on a bass drum pedal so all depends what is important to your playing.

The Paiste PST7 High Hats would have been a better comparison. I love mine.

I know im johnny come lately but your bias towards Sabian is noticeable as thats the brand you play and you might be endorsed by them so as an independent assessment it cant be taken seriously especially when you say which ones you would choose plus the comparison is not equal for this this vid gets a👎

I just got a set of Sabian AAX xplosions and I love them but coming off my zbt isn’t easy. And I am more of Sabian guy but have a couple zildjians I really dig.
Are they good for metal???
I'm gonna a buy a set of Meinls HCS or a set of Zidhian ZBTs. In a comparison, it seemed that the Zildians sounded much crisper than the Meinls. Not that the Meinls didn't sound good, but when placed next to each other, I think there is a difference.

Great hats actually. They sound awful at first, but after couple of months of heavy hitting they tune in and become amazing. That's the thing with professional cymbal companies, their cymbals are made to last.
What mic/mics are you using to record your bass drum? It sounds awesome.
I'm digging that micing and mixing. Kit sounds awesome.
How have they been holding up? Wanted to get a set of these for by bro and i found some new ones at a great price. Just hope they stand the test of time!
