I´m about to buy a ride and am between this guy and a bosphorus 22 traditional ride. Does anyone have a clue on what are their differences? It´s hard to make this decision.
I'm a Paiste guy, but i may have to "visit" the Zildjian camp for a while..Don't know if i'll be making a transition, but i haven't played Zildjian in so long that i'm beginning to miss them.I started with Zildjian, so maybe now in my mid 40's i may just finish with them..

I just think the custom dark series covers all bases for the Artist Drummer that likes to paint a picture musically. If you are a heavy hitter and constantly in one end of the musical and dynamic spectrum the you should look at what the pros are using who mimic your playing style. Just remember the more responsive cymbal will eventually break. Through constant hard use. sometimes it's better to drive my Chevy everyday to work than to always bring out the Porsche even though I know it can do the same job. What's in your toolbox

How would you compare the sustain and projection of this ride to the A custom and A custom ping rides? I don't really crash on my ride and I need something that doesn't sustain for very long with a pronounced bell too. Playing mostly metal and progressive rock. Not too picky about high vs low pitch.
