And what about A Avedis. Did someone had the chance to compare? Is it same as A´s or different? Choosing also 16" crashes now and I can see on the market these two versions A, A avedis.
The A and K customs sound best. I've gotten compliments from couple of the other musicians in the band , while on stage, they're like "you're cymbals sound great!". Sax player told me that a few months back.
The A is my fav, thanks. I wanna hear ya smack that Scimitar tho! That was my 1st cymbal I bought at 15 yrs old, 14 in too & I wish I still had it, thanks again

This is a GREAT demo, but you can't really hear the cymbals themselves. Your voice comes through really well, though.
How are you supposed to hear the cymbals above the loud music.

I have the i pro gig series cymbals and they sound really good. Especially the 18" crash/ride. The 16" has a little bit of an undertone the 20" is very bright. The high hats are pretty good but I am also new to drumming.
Zildjians are nice, and as much as I'd like to play American cymbals, nothing they make stacks up to paiste 2002, and especially paiste signatures. Just my preference.
Sound the same to me. I am not a musician but I have been known to listen to music from time to time
S and k’s both models complimented the song well the A s were imo to raw in a washy way idk my opinion but I agree in good hands they all sound good!

Those special dry really are something else. Not for everyone but my favorite Zildjians ever
I have the S 18" thin crash. I can tell you 100% it does NOT sound like this naturally. Mic'ed and processed changes the sounds of these things 100%. If I could give an example of what it really sounds like its about like a WWE ringside bell. Very much NOT the sound you want or hear naturally. It has to be heard recorded on video with anything from a cheap phone to top of the line audio other words anything but natural hearing lol
When you play cymbals the right way and a nice placement of the microphones, they sound amazing!

This cymbal pack should've went with a 22" ride and a 19" crash instead of the 16". But that's just me.

I’m a Meinl guy and love my meinls but there is something truely special about A customs. Meinl imo makes the best darker and dry sounding cymbals. Even their traditional and brilliant byzance lines which are what I play are a lot darker than these. Meinl doesn’t really have cymbals that can compete with A customs when it comes to loud bright cutting thin cymbals like these. They feel great and maybe harsh when you play in the practice room by yourself but in the mix on an album and especially in a live mix with a loud band, it’s really hard to beat A customs which is why so many rock drummers and drummers who need their cymbals to cut in big venues and arenas love these cymbals. Played in a back line kit few nights ago with all A customs and they felt great. Love how thin and buttery they feel yet they are super bright and cutting.
