A customs tend to sound very "intrusive"... hard to fit them into the mix soundwise.
What is the other crash?
I really would like a pair of 14" K light hi hats but I am livin' on a prayer here so I thought it would be a good idea have a 14" A Custom top hi hat on bottom and this 14" A Custom on top to get a thinner sound from the A Custom line up tell me what you guys think?

Not that I'm bashing but these sound like those $100 B8 cymbal pack cymbals you get. Too tinny, same for those hi hats. If you like them I guess that's cool, but you don't get that high quality sound like you do with some upper zildjian K's or even A/A custom's. I've refurbished some of my own cymbals as well so I'm not biased, but these don't sound that good at all.

Man I just got a 16 inch A med Thin and it has that nasty overtone that smaller crashes are known for. I wish I could do something to keep the pitch the same but get rid of that "ooooooonnnng"...
