Is it worth to get this monitor in 2021? It's on sale right now for 2 more days in Norway from $3313 down to $1774. Or are there any other better options out there or soon maybe coming? Like the LG UltraGear 34GN850-B or the up coming LG UltraGear 34GP950G.

Just picked up my Acer X35 for $1,799 at microcenter - a solid $600 cheaper than the Asus PG35VQ and they're the same monitor. At $1,800 I could justify it, but at $2,400 I just couldn't hardly fathom spending that much more for the same monitor. Being 1DE off on greyscale color calibration compared to the PG35VQ is honestly semantics.
Definitely my dream gaming monitor. And the reason this is better then every other 35 inch gaming monitor is because ethos do the only 35 inch gaming monitor that has 200hz. I would get a sceptre 35 inch gaming monitor just because it has a cooler looking stand but since this has 200hz then that’s why this is the best 35 inch gaming monitor

I ended up getting Alienware aw3420dw. 120hrtz. Ips panel. And 2ms response time. And it's gsync. For 1000. Definitely worth it. Prolly won't upgrade this for a while unless they get 4k ultrawide with 144hrtz and 2ms response time or better

Quick question. At 21:10 of the video when the mouse cursor is on the black background. Is that a accurate depiction of the "halo effect" when sitting directly in front of the monitor (ideal position). I notice when I really see it in review videos the camera is always on an angle.
Hey what's up! I bought the ag353ucg and a friend of mine the pg35vq. . Both of us returned the monitors today back the vendors because of vertical scanlines! And i do not refer to the issue that was fixed with firmware on the pg35vq . The scanlines where appearing in slow motion ( for instance slowly turning the camera in a game ) and it made particularly distant backgrounds look fuzzy in motion like the res was dropping or like a crt looked in the past! I don't know if all these monitors present this defect but i see that you mention something similar in your review. When these companies going to learn?

How loud is the fan noise?
Hi. Thank you for your correctly reviewed video ( almost all others just do unboxing videos and present them as reviews ) . I want to ask I owned a x27 and the fald grid was clearly visible manifesting as dirty screen effect in panning shots. Amazon sent me a second one only to discover that it was worse ! I returned both monitors while i found similar reports from other users for the x27 and the pg27uq . I also see the grid but in very reduced way in my q85r samsung tv . Of course things get a lot worse if you look at either screen off angle . Did you notice the same thing in this panel ? Pcper's review of the pg35vq has a photo of a grey background directly shot in front of the monitor and it is clearly visible even there ( you see the grid like pattern very easy ) .
Fan is another component to worry about, they could have used a passive cooling method with copper heatsink pipes running across the whole monitor under multiple open vents.
Always just read your reviews. Nice to watch one, especially in a resolution higher than 1080p. Thank you for the excellence you bring.

i know this is kinda an unallowed question but, does anybody tried this monitor with HDMI on a console? I mostly play on PC and im kinda in love with this monitor but i sometimes still play xbox with my friends and really need a monitor capable of connecting to PC and console over hdmi with 1440p at least with no weird cropping or stretching. This review was actually one part why i love this monitor so much and i would love to have the advantages of the ultrawide while playing on pc
