It's not bright but, I guess it's just a gill light and not key light. And are you still using it? what's your opinion about the product after all these years? would you recommend it?

B&H sent me one for free for no reason. I have to say it is great for a quick portable/tripod light and it actually does produce a lot of soft light. Not bad at all. Using Sony batts is always a plus.

At 2:35 on the back it says 8V/5A, whereas the recommended ac adaptor is 12V/5A. I wonder if it is safe to use such an adaptor.
