This is now my BABY!! or I'll say babies since I've bought two of them now.❖>imgs.love/YN-Flash?a7 I had a canon version. Broke it by accident. Didn't want to spend the $on a new canon one. So I took the chance on this one and honestly I'll never buy another canon one. These are great and for the price you can afford to have a pair of back up flashes. The money you save on these, you should buy a good softbox and stands to go on it. I ended up buying a new softbox and Octabox since I saved so much money on these.
Have you had problems with the -D and the strobe with bounce flash? I have had trouble with the flash 580 and the 600 with bounce flash very dim lighting. Canon suggest pressing the focus putton before each picture to prevent this problem. But, that's ackward.
Great review job ! Is possible in a Canon 6D MII use a Yongnuo RF605C as a trigger for an external Yongnuo YN968EX-RT ? Could give me some tricks for it ? I tried and coundn't find a way. Thanks in advaced for yor help.

how many 1/1 power flashes or 1/8 at 1 sec ? is it charging fast enoght ? yn685 is really slow at this point.. sometimes i need to wait 2 sec after 1/2 power flash... or 1 sec after 1/4- 1/8...

Hello Hien Tongho, we both agreed that the YN968EX-RT has "LINKED SHOT" as well as "REL" and the YN600EX-RT II and YN600EX-RT do not. You wouldn't happen to know if the YN686EX-RT has those same features?

I believe the YN 968 EX RT also has the capability of tilting backwards. So you can bounce light off the back wall.

so the yn686ex-rt is not gonna work with 622c?
The YONGNUO YN968N has been superseded by the YONGNUO YN968N II Main difference is the new version zooms to 200mm (vs 105mm) Also length is 8mm longer and 10g heavier. YONGNUO say 'newly upgraded operation interface, more simple and convenient to use, supports USB Firmware upgrade'. Both the same price online ($129) at B&H.
This is a good flash imgs.love/YNFlash there are many options today to buy but this is a good option, i use before this flash so many times on live events and sessions and do the work fine. If you want a flash before buy one please read the features, test, etc because there are many entry and pro features, price etc and you got what you pay and your needs . i recomend this simply and nice very usefull yongnuo

3 questions How do I trigger my 968 using my pop up flash? Is the 622 all I need to sync from my camera body wirelessly. Just the 1 or do I need a receiver and transmitter for my camera and flash hotshoe? I can screw my yonguno 968 to my tripod using 1/4inch but what do I need to insert it into a beauty dish. The goal for me is to have off camera flash in a nice softbox lighting that I can wirelessly fire. I just have the 968 and will buy either a receiver and or transmitter to use it wirelessly. But I heard you can use the pop up flash also. Just curious.

The Canon's version doesn't work with yn622 without a receiver. That should be noted.

I want to use the Flash YN 968N as radio wireless slave in Manual Mode and shoot with the YN 622N-TX from the Nikon D7100 camera. I put it to the Flash in Manual Mode, but I can not get to configure it to synchronize with the YN 622N-TX. I'm asking for instructions, because with the Flash pdf manual, How can I configure it.? Be careful CANON users... The YN968EX-RT uses the Canon RT radio protocol. The Yongnuo YN968EX-RT is not compatible with the YN622C protocol. It's also not compatible with the different YN560/RF603/RF605 protocol used by Yongnuo for manual only flashes. Some confusion about the YN968EX-RT compatibility with the YN622C-TX probably stems from the fact that the Nikon version of the YN968, the YN968N, is compatible with the Nikon version of the YN622 transmitter, the YN622N-TX. Notice that the Nikon version of the YN968 has no "RT" in the name.

Carl Bradley, are you able to get the flash into "LINKED SHOT"? The YN600EX-RT II can not do "LINKED SHOT" nor YN622.
Carl, Trying to use a YN968N with my D750 (just got it for Christmas). That said I can only control Flash Exposure Compensation from -3 to +1 from the camera. I can set it from -3 to -3 from the flash. On top of that when I adjust FEC in that range (again from the camera) the YN698 doesn't show the range I've set (for example if I set to +1 the YN968 still shows 0). Any ideas what might be going on? Also any idea if I can get a YN968N to trigger a YN622C (Canon) so I can fire my old 580EX flash from my Nikon body.
