I like the video, but I am a bit annoyed about terms like. Slippery, Soft feeling, Hard feeling without any explanation. I am a stringer myself, but honestly none of these make any sense to me. When do we establish something as hard or soft feeling? Because hard feeling to me is always a high-tension racket which will impact your wrist more than playing with lower tension. Putting hard/medium or soft feeling makes no sense to me and I wish you would explain what it actually meant according to you. I honestly don't believe any of the branding on the packaging. The only thing I which really makes a difference is the thickness of the strings and how much tension a player wants to play with. BG65 is 0.71mm which is obviously going be more durable than playing with a thinner string. It's just something nobody really seems to understand about strings. The differences are minimal unless you play with a different thickness or combine multiple strings like aerobite. Personally I put Exbolt 65 on my mains and Aerosonic on my crosses which creates a similar effect as Aerobite just to make it a little bit more durable since I like thin strings like aerosonic. Anyway, I am curious how you look at it. To me, there is absolutely no difference between let's say, BG66 Ultimax and Exbolt 65 since they have the same thickness. In real life players break Exbolt 65 strings just as quickly if not quicker as BG66 Ultimax while Yonex calls Exbolt a more durable string. I don't believe anything they write on the packaging. Any player asking me about the differences I simply tell them, the thinner the string the better it will sound and better feeling you get but it will be less durable. And same goes for higher vs lower tension. But playing on high tension all the time may give you a hard time and give more injuries. Am I wrong?
