I think yardleys English is very beautiful, it's feminine and light I got slight vibes of citrus, it definately smells better when left a moment or two but I love it and no I am not a old lady.

Hi Natty, yes Yardley is an old fashioned kinda brand but I am sure I have had some soaps or body lotion over the years. I could almost smell the pink roses when you described it. I will have a sniff next time I am mooching around the department store. I love your memory attached to the Rose Perfume :-) xxxx

Yardley Lily of the Valley was my Grandmother's perfume of choice, now if I ever smell it I immediately think of her. I actually really like Yardley's English Rose, it was one of the first perfumes I ever wore.
Love the chunky necklace, it looks fab!  I just recently got one for myself so I know how it can feel a little off at first. I'm now going to be on the lookout for Yardley so I can actually smell it :)

I've been wondering for awhile what the Grandma smell is.  I know of Yardley but can't remember what the smell is.  I'll have to go and smell it when I'm out and about one day lol.  That was an interesting lot of facts about the company, it's a shame when a company has a huge name but somehow manages not to stay afloat.  History of these companies are just very interesting, make for great movies. I'm eventually wanting to buy a camera for filming but so many people have the same issues with all types of cameras that it makes me a little hesitant.  I want filming lights, that what I want most.   Another great review Natee :)♥

Somebody's been very organised this week! Bioderma and now Yardley - love it! Yardley reminds me of my Grandma. I only wore Coco by Chanel from 19 - 38. Now, for daytime, I wear Charlie Blue because it reminds me of a Granny scent - and I couldn't care less if anyone says so :) x
