I want to tell TW that the Lacoste damper is not made with regular size. It’s a bit wider than all other products and stretched string a bit too much. I think TW should pay a close look and make this clear on product page. My$7 is wasted but luckily I didn’t try the more expensive product.
Do you guys have any recommendations for 4e/extra wide shoes?
Some of them look a bit flimsy. Btw does Rush Pro 3.5 have 6 month outsole guarantee if I buy from TW Europe?
I applaud Wilson for offering a mid-cut shoe. I only wish others would do the same. Growing up and playing tennis in the mid 90s in HS, most shoes were a mid or 3/4 cut so you didn't have to worry about ankle issues. Shame every shoe is a low cut.

Does Adidas sizing run bigger in general than Nikes? And particularly this CJB given some feedback that it runs large/long, wide with a very roomy forefront/toe area? My foot size is a 7 (24cm) and have a slightly wide foot due to a bunion. I usually wear a US 8 regular in Nike for sneakers. Need advice on best size to get for this CJB if I can't fit actual shoe and only purchasing online. Thanks.

Doc, my experience with this shoe kinda matches what you told. Really enjoyed the bounce foam, my knees feel great and I don't feel as beaten down after long sessions. I am a really aggressive mover and I slide a lot on hard courts. At first I couldn't slide. The outsole wouldn't give, but then it broke in and started to allow me to slide, while maintaining great traction. But the shoe ran a little short for me and there is too much room on the forefoot so my toes keep jamming on the front of the shoe and it's the most painful experience I've had in my life (it doesn't bother as much on clay, since the sliding is more smooth) Also the lacing system kinda chews up on the plasticky eyelets and it seems like it will just burn through them eventually. Since the materials on the upper aren't the best and the tongue seems kinda hard and not padded enough, the laces really hurt that one ligament that lifts your foot to the point where lifting my foot, even after taking the shoes off, hurt as hell. So, in a nutshell, great cushion and outsole, awful upper in my opinion, which kills all the good aspects of it.

My favorite shoe from adidas was the older boost. But I bought a prime blue boost because all the others were sold out. The prime blue boost material did not seem as springy/shock absorbing as the material in my older boost shoes. I am not sure if this is because they are using different, more environmentally friendly, material or if something else caused the change. I am trying to preserve my knees and other joints so I was wondering if cushioned shoes will help. The peer reviewed material does not seem to support that theory. But I find that surprising. When I wear my leather bottom shoes for work my joints hurt much more than when I wear cushioned shoes. That this pain has no connection to inflammation or other problems is hard to believe. Other issues I am having with later adidas shoes: The prime blue shoe has a plastic part that comes up on the instep that can not be loosened with the laces. It cut into my instep making the shoes unworkable for me. Finally the back is so high it started irritating my Achilles tendons to wear adidas shoes. It is odd because I wore adidas shoes with this high back for years and never had a problem then it just started happening that my Achilles tendons started to get irritated.
Can we consider these shoes the best option of the SoleCourt Boost in terms of relief for the achilles and heel spur ? I see no more boost-foam technology on the midsole , isn't it ?
I wore these today for the first time with an over the counter orthotic (that you recommended). At first they felt very comfortable but could feel some heal slippage as I walked to the court. I tied them nice and tight using the cats cradle method so was surprised. The odd thing was as soon as I started playing there was no slippage. I played for 2.5 hours and i have zero foot pain which is rare for me. This shoe is an absolute steal at the price!
Based on your reviews - including this one - it seems like the Adidas Courtjam Bounce compares very favorably with a number of more expensive shoes (assuming you accept that it is less durable than some of those pricier models). How does the CJ Bounce compare with the Lotto Hyperpulse RAPTOR 100? Seems like the CJ Bounce has many of the same attributes (which is rare) - cushioned, stable, breathable, and low to the ground. How do they stack up in your opinion Zach?
This review now begs the question: IS THE CJ BOUNCE A BETTER PERFORMING SHOE THAN THE NEW BARRICADE 2021?

Yeah, the durability is far from perfect on this shoe. I wear through them in about 3 weeks but because of me doing that to the solematch bounce as well, I’ll take the 60 bucks over the 110
