do you guys think that luxilon alu power would work well with a babolat pure drive 2018 model and if so, would a lower tension be recommended?

Hi I’m a junior who’s been using a hybrid of alu in crosses and nxt comf, and I feel like I need more control, more consistency since I’ve upped my swing weight. Should I try a full bed of alu? Any suggestions, pls help me out! Thx so much!

I strung this at 44 pounds in a volkl C10pro why is this string so stiff and no pop to it ? Did anyone have the same experience as me ? It seems everyone is in love with this string. Tennis warehouse can you please recommend a string for me that is less stiff and more easy power

Hi TW - I bought a Yonex VCore Pro 97 310g that came with Babolat Duralast 130 gold colour at 46 lbs by random. It is a round shape co-poly Somehow after a couple hits, the string really sync up with me to direct the ball where I aim and I can swing big and not to worry about over. The string has since gone loose and would this ALU Power give me the same satisfying outcome? Duralast is out of stock.
Is this a good string to put in the rf97 A?
Currently using hyper g, will I like the switch to these strings?

The guy I play with uses a full bed Alu Power and restrings after 2 months. Is it that durable? My hybrid set up (Cyclone Tour x Head Velocity m) is good for no more than 6 hours then they bag out.

I have a litle question. What string set up could be similar to champion's choice? Can I use a multifilament or synthetic gut in stead of the natural gut (it's a litle pricy.) Can I solinco tour bite diamond rough instead of alu power rough (it's also a litle pricy.) thank you :)
what are the best alternative to put instead of natural gut (because of it's price)? I wanna try Luxilon ALU Power in the cross but don't know what to put in the main. Synthetic gut or multiphilamnet like Babolat xcell or origin or . guess multiphilamnet may be a better option but when we can use synthetic gut?

I have purchased this gut/poly hybrid and I'm wondering if it matters if I got it strung at the same tension, say 55lbs.? Or should I get the gut higher and the poly lower?

I've used the regular ALU power string for years; they may not break but they do lose tension over time so if I don't break them in a month I'd have to cut them and restring anyways.
I have this at 52 and 50, like it better at 50.seems a lot stiffer than the Kirschbaum Pro Line Evolution 17 (1.25), have you tried that string? string is easy to break in 15 min.
Poly is a BITCH to string! It's ALL HYPE! 90% amateurs should be using a Multi synth! They will play no worst with a $3 synth vs a $18 poly!
Just did a video on this. I think you will enjoy it. used rpm blast for a long time without any arm problem but I tried the alu power rough and in one month it was killing my arm. Do you know why the rpm blast doesn’t hurt the arm even though it is a poly?

Great video! Can you please tell more about differences between Alu Power and Alu Power Soft? I love Alu Power but they are hard on my arm, even in a hybrid setting and at 50 pounds. Seems like the Soft has all the pro without cons? Did you find any downside to the soft vs regular? Also will be the soft still easier on the arm even at few more pounds compared to regular at lower tension?
