I really really hope those 10 weights were for demonstration purposes because you should never need that many weights to balance a tire.
So how else can you take those wheel weights off if you don't feel like wasting money on specialty pliers for a one time job?

Never over torque, but I bet heavy duty wheels have a super high torque value. So I couldn't say for these wheels in particular.
