Hi there! May i know what’s the static contrast ratio of this Viewsonic monitor?
this monitor not recognize the Thunderbolt conector from my Mac Pro 2013, just only HDMI at 30 htz. Could you use this monitor with thunderbolt conector in any Mac Pro?

I would be curious to see the same image on the Viewsonic as the Macbook. It seemed as though the Viewsonic's anti-glare coating was creating a pretty strong haze over the picture, but maybe that effect would disappear in a pitch black room? at that point I don't see the function anymore of an anti-glare coating. I'm honestly dumbfounded by how nearly no manufacturers make glossy screens anymore. The diffused haze of AG coatings is the worst

Hi. I was hoping you could provide some details on the anti glare coating. I have an old dell 27" 2k monitor and next to a retina MacBook or iMac screen the clarity is not as good. How does this screens anti glare effect clarity? How is it compared to the MacBook retina you have. Thanks for the video. Keep up the great work.
Hello, I buy this display but with my mac (MacBook Pro 15 mid 2014) connected to this display with a Thunderbolt Cable it's does not work ... I have activated the option DisplayPort 1.2 on the display... Can you help me please ? Thank you very much !

Very interesting to see that in the US it is available to Amazon customers for $699.99 (approx £469.10 at todays exchange rate - 24/12/15), but on the UK Amazon it is £723.08 - assuming it is produced in China or the Far East, shipping should not have such a drastic affect on price - so, do Viewsonic charge its retailers in Europe more than in the US for the same product?
4K is nice but for $699 price range is high for a Viewsonic and the design does not look appealing.

Hi Jack ... this looks Sooooo good for me and my photography ... but there are reports of difficulty connecting to Apple Macs ... but I see that you are using a mac ... I assume it does not have USB c which is a pity but how do you connect it. I am moving from an iMac 27" 2013 .... so taking my time making a decision. But if I could be assured then this would be my choice

Thank you for the video. Could someone please provide make VP2768 4K vertical angle test with a clean white or yellow image from up-close distance without any zooming? This helps to know if the panel is free from the steep brightness fall-off effect of some IPS panels, as demonstrated here: https://youtu.be/meA9N0jqnHA For people with normal vision, this is not a problem. But I am a visually handicapped programmer / web developer, therefore I have to use the monitor at closer-than-normal distances. At small distances, this vertical fall-off gets very noticeable and makes working more uncomfortable, like on old TN panels. I can use my old VP2365WB monitor at 20cm distance and there are no visible brightness loss in my peripheral vision. I want to find a 27" monitor that does not have strong vertical / horizontal brightness loss. I have already tried and returned some monitors because they had this problem. So, I would be very grateful if somebody would spend just a few minutes to make the vertical angle test video of Viewsonic VP series 27" and send the video to me. Because of Covid, ordering and waiting takes much longer now. If someone makes the simple vertical angle test, I would know if the monitor has this problem and I will not order it, and so avoid waiting two weeks for my order and then returning the monitor because it has the problem. Sorry for the long text. I really want to find a new monitor without going through multiple returns again.
Whats your opinion on the Viewsonic VP2785-4k with USB type c or the Viewsonic VP3268-4K?? I Know there more expensive but as monitors alone which would you say is the best for photo and video editing

how is the brightness?
I have one of these. It's been a few months and I love it. Question: is there a film on the front of the screen? Should it be removed? I only recently noticed what looks like a film on the front of my monitor , looking closely at the corners it looks like there's separation between the glass and a film-like layer, but I'm afraid to remove it without knowing whether I should.
Thanks for the review Jack :-) This is one of about 5 monitors recommended for the Nintendo Switch (no TV in my house), so I'm thinking of picking up this ViewSonic due to the vibrant colours. I didn't know that ViewSonic was still around but my first 2 flatscreen monitors (2004 and 2006) were ViewSonics, then I have been using the Dell Ultrasharp range in the 2010s which is another good brand. Their monitors are 1200p though so the image production on the Switch isn't to scale, so I'll have to drop to 1080p for the Switch and then use 1440p for MS Windows.
how does this perform vs benq pd2700?
Do you still need to calibrate these screens with a Spyder type device or is that all taken care of with the hardware?
hello nice review..In my country it says LED 27" ViewSonic VP2768 |100% sRGB|WQHD|IPS|Frameless. It is WQHD 2560 x 1440 and not 4k..Is it different in each country?

you can notice 4k, only on 32" or more, its not extremely necesary 4k

I had a question I made a mistake an hit memory recall did that erase the precalibration that viewsonic installed to monitor
