I have this same setup for my Razor E300, but I cant quite figure out the wiring. In the background @2:14 I noticed that the red and blue wires (I'm assuming for "LOCK") are wired together together.... Is this correct? Also, I notice you are not running the batteries to a fuse. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Probably your brushes were wore out. I don't understand why these brushed motors have no access ports to replace them. Like most powert.ools
If you would of opened up the motor you would of notice that the motor may of taken on some moisture and your bushes would of seized (not able to move freely with the stator) and would of caused massive wear or your stator this it why the motor is making alot of noise and the winding inside will definitely be shot.

I have a my1020 1900w 36v brushed motor... or so it is market at the motor... still belive it is 1000w. You think it will burn running 48v throug it? The cables to the brushes and everything look pretty thik.

Why it burn't really??
So far I knew the motor my 1020 can be supplied 24v,36v and 48v.If the motor is 36 volt, it can't burn the coil when the battery is 40 volt.
20v rated motor and already damage motor and over power by 40v battery. that is the result.
