Another great video. I used to consume religiously pre-workout drinks before starting my workout and then BCAA during the workout. Now, my pre workout includes a cup of black coffee. No BCAA during workout. I am now actually stronger since I am paying more attention to my diet. Thanks for busting these marketing-created myths!

I used Tailwind drink mix during my training for this years Chicago Marathon anytime I was running on the treadmill or when on long runs on the weekend and I took a hydration vest with me. I like it because everyone of the flavors are very mild and doesn’t taste overly sweet and for me is very easy on the stomach.
Nice review. I’m just starting with some Unived products. When I go on runs longer than 8mi I usually carry a small 8oz Gatorade and take swigs every mile or two. Would this be good for sipping throughout the workout? Maybe take a few Oz before the run, and take 8-10oz in sips during the run? Thx!

Would you recommend the Unived gels over SIS? I usually use a thicker all-natural gel when doing my long runs, but looking for something easier to take down during a half marathon race.

Tried a gel during a half-marathon race. Taste was awful. G32 gel, I think. Also, had a hydration mix. Overdid the caffeine intake and ended up with massive stomach cramps. Will stick with one or the other next time. Or one with caffeine, one not. Thanks for the tip!

I just started to drink Unived (coconut turmeric flavor) my first time after a long run (16miles) and second time during my long run (20miles) which worked better for me. Flavor is good and I don’t if it’s mentally but my performance was better. Now I also take GU gels every 5 miles. Do you think it’s ok to mix both during a long race? I just took a 8oz bottle with it and the gu gels. But I’m planning to take 2 bottles of 8oz of Unived and my husband gels every 5 miles for my next marathon. What do you think? Thanks in advance. I'm testing these at the moment also and will do a review also! They seem pretty good for ultras (higher cals, easy to consume) Same as you though as the temps get colder and the fact I'm not racing now until next year. Your views were interesting.

Good review, with so many options out there now for recovery it is hard to choose. This video is helpful. There are some opinions that you do not want to lower inflammation as that is simply your body performing the actual needed recovery. Any thoughts on this?
Hi. Thanks for the product review. I use the recovery mix after my 2 hour or longer runs. Before using the Unived product, the next day after running I’d be basically worthless. Unable to do much of anything, like chores and such. The Unived product seems to help restore my vitality. They use maltodextrin, which I’m not a fan, as life is lower carb for me. Taste is fine, for both flavors. The price is acceptable, a box will last more than a month. Thank you for your videos. Great work!
what do i think?.......i don`t think anything about any so called recovery product, which comes in a packet, a bottle or some other plastic. I also find it rather strange, to call anything, heavily processed like this and packaged in plastic "organic". There is nothing organic about that it is artificial.....but at the end of the day, i can`t change anybodies food choices.....i eat plantbased wholefood non processed for almost 26 years..... that pretty much answers the other question. Neither did i ever try any unived products, nor any other such products from others companies with one exception. In a triathlon in 1983, after the bike ride, i drank some gatorade. I puked for the next 2 miles for almost an hour, before i could finish the run.....well yes i finished last. edit: as i just read in another comment, there is maltodextrin in the product, refined carbohydrat, unhealthy for everyone to say the least
