Hey, you never showed us how the rear brake cable from the left lever gets attached through the head stem .How does it attach to the Gyro mech? .

RJ, where do you buy the BMX cables, and how do you know what size to buy for any particular bike? Are sizes for replacement cables/housings standard?
Just got an old Mongoose freebie on the side of the road. I'm always on the lookout for my grandkids. It's an OK bike with 2 handbrakes and a gyro but the cables are in bad shape, along with the barrel adjusters at the levers on the handlebars. I'm trying to decide if I should bother or just leave it the way it is. The brakes work but I'm sure they would be better with new cables. The worn out barrel adjusters on the brakes levers are what concerns me. The threads are kind of stripped so I wouldn't be able to get much adjusting from them. What would you do?
m ylocal bike shop sait you can't run normal cables with on a bmx that had gyros.

Gotta love trek for making an awesome flatland bike and naming it the vert. I love those bars, used to have those same bars on a schwinn predator, they're missing the red dust caps on the bottom, also you might want to reroute the front brake cable through the bars. I have a 20 in mongoose thats missing the back brake Gyro cable just the top one do u happen no the the size was told there 3 differnt sizes it didnt have one when i got it

I have way too much cable slack in my upper gyro cable. Have all adjustments maxed out and still too loose.

I just have a quick question do you need holes in your frame put this on I am looking at buying the odessey G3 Gyro kit would I be able to install if my frame does not have holes in it if so is there anything else I should know because I saw this video then I almost bought a gyro online but then found out you need holes in your frame in order to install it. So can you please make it clear for me. I want to do bar spins without having to take my break off it looks cool with the break still on and it kind of helps in case you need to use your break.

I have the standard type of brake mounts that screw into my frame I have tried multiple sets yet my brake calipers don't seem to spin on them freely any ideas why this is? I've' tried giving each post a quick sand with some smooth wet and dry but didnt really make a difference

My Old BMX that I bought last 2017 has that kind same break but it is in Mechanical Disk Break and Eventually I sold it this year because I don't use it anymore and I think it needs a new owner who loves bike and that will take care of my old BMX Bike I'm glad I sold it so it could have a new owner and a new adventure
