It would have been more informative if there were more details about the mechanical advantages, efficiencies, efforts, work advantage , life, wear resistance etc which are the actual parameters of comparison. This video is quite practical, but deceptive. FYI....if you damage your wheel socket using a two-point contact (like a vice, or the thumb wrench used here), Park Tool will reject any warranty claim. In his response to me, the rep said that a 1" socket OR the FRW-1 wrench should be used, providing even contact on all sides of the socket....even though this official company video doesn't illustrate or even mention that. Even crazier....he even acknowledged this very video in the response to my claim !? Very disappointed.

"Might take some force" yeah mine is solid and won't budge. Took it to a bike shop and got them to fit it a few months ago. Recently i needed a new wheel so been trying to remove it and fit it onto the new wheel I've even put a long pole on the end of the spanner for leverage and was going to town on it with a big mallet still won't budge and its pissing me off now.

Quick tip. If you don't have a chain whip use an old bit of chain and a pair of pliers
I came to while trying to figure out why it wont budge in the counterclockwise direction,i tried the half inch air impact gun then back in the vise and with brute strength it finally came😅

How about if I have a tri spoke wheel that only came with a single-speed sprocket and I added the Freewheel do I have to remove that metal nut it screws right over the top of it
I had to use an automotive socket wrench to get enough grunt to break the freewheel I had loose. Also got lucky in tool selection. I just ook a stab at it and 'oh hey that worked. Neat.' I did not see ANY grease on the freewheel threads, which concerns me, but 'well tha tracks with literally everything else i've seen on this bike.'

Can I use chain wip to remove the cassette?
Have a problem with my freewheel. When im freewheeling the freewheel locks up and the derailleur jumps. If I take my feet offf the pedals the pedals start to turn as if I had a fixed hub? It will do this several times over a short journey. Changed freewheel twice but keep getting this problem! Anyone had this problem and any ideas regarding the solution? I did change the original freewheel and only had his problem since then!
Can i convert it to a singlespeed freewheel? Is there a video for it? Do i need to redish the wheel?

Pawls can get stuck when using thick grease. I don't know about the marine grease, but I think it's safer to use some kind of oil.

isn't the idea not to grease the pawls as they should be free to move and greasing them could cause them to get stuck. i think he has contradicted himself on another video where he said that one should use lubricating oil to overhaul the freewheel and bearings huh

Are the number of bearings universal to all freewheels...? I lost some bearing balls accidentally when my lock ring came off while riding, 40 of the fitted nicely at bottom and 34 at the other side, now whenever I try to tighten the lock ring freewheel becomes very tight I've made couple of extra shim washers for it but again same thing is happening, I thing I have to remove some balls....!
