Is there any disadvantages to using cheap ED kit if all I'm ganna do is recording MIDI with it to triger a drum VST? Of course I will have to get a kit with MIDI capabilities so I have that down. And I don't really care about the feel as long as the pads have some bounce to them and enough velocity levels. And if possible, quiet pads. Any suggestions? Thank you.
I’m just about to jump back in. I am older now but as a younger man I was in several bands and had a TAMA 5 piece power kit with the old electric pads that came out neons ago. I always remembered the electric pads had no stick feedback and really only had 4 tracks ranging from boing boing to Ping Ping and crash crash. Very 80s. I want something that I can set up and have a range of sounds with and play with headphones over tracks. Key areas for me are feedback from the heads and obv sound and ease of use. Thanks for your review.

When i hit the rim of my snare it works but the others don’t. How do i fix it?
Just got one of these , can’t use my double pedals as stated in this video! It’s a small pad and the beater has to be in the middle, so double beaters don’t work !!
My bass drum does NOT allow for a double bass pedal. It won't register both hits. I have to move the drum over so the right beater hit's directly in the middle.
for this intro mesh kit, I read from one of the comment that when using the aux, the sound is delayed. is that true??

Hi The Tourtech Tt 22M has the bass drum peddle. Does it make the sound of a real bass drum when you don't have headphones in? I'm just worried about a bass drum noise in the house. The camera did a wobble effect when you pressed the peddle so it made me wonder.

In my experience I have a alesis dmx10 and lacks a lot is my first time with electrics ones I buy that one because of my neighbors and it was kind of cheap but also it broke to fast my cymbals pads are done 😂 I need a better 1
When you plug the E drums to a DAW, can you switch the sample sounds and map it to the e drum kit? I'd like to get a set but use my own kits from my DAW..... although the sounds at 12:25 would be litty
