🤔my bitex MTR12 is making a a slight rough rinding noise, but only when turning the cranks backwards, do you recomend removing the freehub body, and giving the paws and springs a clean and grease🤔👍
is it possible to replace the axle the body was on?
👌great tutorial, ive got a bitex mtr 135qr hub, hopefully it will be the same same way.
That's grease in the hub or lubricant?
Hi there. How are these hubs for a 85kg rider ?
More or less the Same process for an mtb hubs right?
hello. I guess my freehub body is stuck. I think i have a taiwan brandless hubs too. I just cant pull it out by hand. haven't tried using appropriate tools yet.
Thanks for that 👍would like to see how you replace the bearings having trouble finding the right size bearings for the front hub
Great video. Just what I needed! Thank you!
thank you so much for this

Left side…non drive side
Nice useful video. I have just replaced my MTB 3x7 Shimano type freehub body (which had 3 pawls and one of them failed because the freehub body cracked where it sits) with a new similar 3x7 freehub body, but with 6 pawls. I was not sure that it would work but it went in perfectly and engages like a dream. I love how today's modern promotional media has managed to convince the people that going from 21 speeds to 18, 11 or 10 speeds is actually an 'upgrade'. LOL thank you but no thank you. I'll stick to my wider 21 gear range and will not downgrade to less gears.
For my application, lots of miles on a daily basis, relatively mild terrain, this would be totally pointless.
How about hubs with sealed cartridge bearings sir?
Question, I am getting a Giant Talon 4 and plan to upgrade the drivetrain to Deore 1 X 12 speed, so I need need to change the freehub body and axle right? how about the bottom bracket ? It has a cartridge BB.. thanks
I changed full hub that has sealed bearings, its probably much better to change the whole hub
The freehub is removed from the left side . What is a freehub used for ? My bike doesn't have one .
FH-RM40-8 is available for this type of Shimano freehub...
The none drive side.
Great video!!
he.
echt klasse erklärt.
Thank you Sir, this was very Knowledgeable.
Parabéns! Top das galáxias!!!
How to measure the size of it?
Thank you much,I can learn more about all things specific technical points/scenarios about bike problems.
Very helpful indeed. thanks very much!
Before this change it’s nesessary a new wheel centered.
Do you have to replace the axle with the longer one??? Also will you get a new mounting bolt with a new hub??
Will the old fastening bolt work with the new hub body? I should adjust the cone on the drive side in order to compensate for the larger hub correct?

Can you switch out a 7 speed freewheel hub body with an 8 speed freehub body?
is Shimano freehub available??
Who tf has a 10 mm Allen wrench bruh fuck you
My freehub body won’t come off with a 10mm hex wrench, do you think I need a bigger size? Maybe 11mm?
My bike has 36h hub can I install 32h freehub?
That video helps a lot. Thank you!
hello . mine is similar but the threaded hollow bolt does not come out . or it probably does but i got to the point where the sealed bearings where out and i lifted that oring up and greased the bearings on the bottom . i noticed one space where it looks like another bearing could go in . i dont see how one fell out . anyways ,if anything it sounds just as bad . i can actually get a replacement hub for $7 but i dont like throwing something out that can be repaired . i couldnt see how to remove the rest on the guts and dont have a replacement now so i stopped . have you seen theses models ?https://play-ws.vod.shopee.com/c3/98934353/10321051320/YzMsc2V0NzktMTIxNTYsMTM5MjgxODI2NDk1OTI0MjI0MCwy.mp4 i did try to drive out that hollow bolt but it didnt move so i stopped . i guess with more persuasion it might come out ?
can you send me the link of tool that you open last fee hub you didn't mention the link please send me the link i will buy in india
Excellent as always. Thank you. I was wondering why I bought a 11mm hex key. This reminded me it was for those freehubs not 10mm.
hey, I have a Formula DC-2241. do you know which freehub I can use to replace my broken one ?
How do you know if a replacement freehub will be compatible with your particular wheel hub?
Thanks for video
Man,you are the best🔥
Can a 11 speed derailleur will fit in a 8s or 9s cassette im curious?
Does anyone know if you can change the type of freehub body, I'd like to convert Shimano hg to ms
I have a question regarding the spacer and where exactly does it go. On this video @ 8:02 the spacer goes on the hub first, underneath the 6 speed cassette, then the final 2 cogs + the lock ring. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f19BGYc5ysA&t=141s On this video @ 12:06 the spacer goes on top of the 7 speed cassette after it was put on the free hub, then the final 2 cogs + the lock ring. I thought both hub/cassette assembly's were the same at first. Is the difference because one is a 6 speed cassette, and one is a 7 speed?
Je hebt ook wel is van die wielen die je hoort. In vrij loop tijdens het fietsen. Zo ratel geluid. Is dat dan een andere body.
i have a 7 speed free wheel could i change that to a 9 or would it possibly need a cassette?
Thank you so much man it's nice video but i have one question for you. Can microspline freehub body replace with standar freehub body ?
brother. How much longer could you ride on this temporary solution before you purchased a new? How much total distsnce did you ride before breaking the cups. Btw awesome fix. wasnt aware something like this could be done
