I am sorry I have to disagree a lot. I understand about some basics like belt matches with your shoes, you don't wear chukka boots or sneakers with suit. Well, in chicago. It's a usual scene people wearing sneakers with suits until they reach office and change to dress shoes. But this is way too much stiff. I work in finance and I have seen lots of Sr VP and even EVPs are totally way off this rules. It's very often that they wear a loafer with suits to a client meetings or meeting with regulators. I think no gives a darn as long as it's not awkward. I don't see anything wrong wearing a dress shoes with denim. I don't know who made these rules but times have changed a lot. If you go to the valley wearing a suit, be it for your interview, still you get those looks as if what the hell is wrong with you. Ofcourse you are presentable but being stringent to a dress is completely unnecessary.

Great video I get my shoes for around the $150 to $200 mark and they've lasted me nearly five years now I think its safe to say for anything under $100 you just can't get much in the way of quality but there are shoes out there for around the $200 mark, even a little cheaper

I am obsessed with finding a pair of textured or grained leather derby’s or dress boots that have a herringbone or houndstooth cashmere portion. Like black and grey or olive or military/forest green with loden or brown/beige. Or even navy and medium/light blue. Actually having an entire set of shoes, gloves, and belt in that style wouldn’t be bad.
A shoe that can only be wear with a suit? That would be the last on my list, nobody wear suits on daily basis anymore.
