Actually the dongles work but they need to be in hilink mode, stick mode doesn't work. I think it's a firmware bug but i recently tried with hilink huawei dongle E3276 and E3372 and it worked. MR 3420 works with both hilink and stick version of the dongle, MR 3620 should work with both but apparently works with only hilink version. I hope they release some firmware update to fix the issue. I hope this helps someone.

Mr 3420 maine 18 mahina se chala raha hu aj tak. Net fail hua nehi kabhi. Airtel 4g unlocked karke us se jio sim dala ke chalata hu. Net maine highest 4.1 mbps speed se chalaya hai.

Was lucky enough to get one of these at a local Dirt Cheap for half off. If you are like me and wanted to use the WDS feature to use it as a bridge/wireless client, go download the original firmware on the TP-Link website. The one it comes with removes this feature.
