I am using my toshiba hdd , while testing through the CrystalDisk software it is showing 150- 158 read write speed but while during transfer of data it is giving me 40-60mb/sAlso I've tested in my friend's pc, there i am getting 110mb/sCan you please describe the reason behind this?

WD and SG are not making 2tb/ 7200 drives under 6k. So this is kinda what we have now.

Hi,I'm having some problems with my laptop. Yesterday I was doing some data backup and went to another room for a while. When I came back the laptop was off. I thought that maybe I plugged charger wrong and the battery is dead, but surprise. It wasn't a battery... firstly nothing worked. clicking a power button did nothing with charger + battery, only battery or only charger. Then after doing some research I tried to release static charge. So I've pressed power button for few minutes with battery off and I hoped it worked. So I put my battery and charger back, pressed power button and... the power button light turn on for a second and went off. the led on front was also blue. So I've pressed again and again with same result. And after forth press all the lights went down and don't want to come back unless I do the trick with "releasing the static charge".What may cause this add behaviour?Thanks for any help, I appreciate it.I have Dell Vostro 1520
