Aren't electric vehicle manufacturing causes half (45-50percentage) of their Total life cycle carbon emission in production process itself. That percentage is about (20-23) for combustion vehicles. On road the scene is different but what about the electric waste after battery life completed?

Why companies are not thinking about battery Swap at major cities. Insted of paying for charging we should able to rent a battery And swap it out at many places.

Purchased all the parts from eBay to make a similar station: T12 tips, T12 STC OLED, Soldering Iron Handle for DSK T12-D and a 24V 6amp AC-DC switching power supply (WX-DC2412). The soldering iron handle is not the single board version. It is the 2-board version with the vibration sensor and a NTC 10K thermistor already soldered onto the board. Please consider recording a tutorial-build of a soldering station using these parts. Cheers
Hey dude, check out this custom firmware for these stations, it has a version that you can use a JBC soldering handle with the station Maybe you can contribute code to improve on it and make it even better: You can read more about it on the guys blog: may not want to replace the plastic handle. I own 2 of these stations: #1 came with the plastic handle with a silicone front, #2 came with an aluminum & carbon fiber handle with no silicone front section. The plastic one doesn't heat up at all and the silicone provides added protection as well as it being substantially thicker than the aluminum handle, so it's comfortable to hold for long time periods. The aluminum one is not only much more narrow but the missing silicone front gives you no heat protection, plus the aluminum passes an extremely large amount of the heat straight to your hand. You can easily burn yourself with the aluminum one if you run higher than 380°C at the tip and the carbon fiber does absolutely nothing to block heat. I recommend sticking with the blue plastic one you have!
I'm building a soldering iron using a HAKKO OLED. The iron I purchased has DSK T12 stamped on one of the boards inside the handle. Have you made one of these soldering stations using these parts. There are some soldering points on the OLED marked P+, P-, E, S and N. Think I can identify what wires connect the iron to the OLED solder points except S and N. Color code is different in every picture available. One popular iron has a single board, but mine has 2 connected boards with 5 wires; RED, BLK, WHT, GRN and BLU. Think RED=P+, BLK=P- and GRN=E. S and N are probably for the sensor that is attached to the iron, but which points should I solder the BLU and WHT wires and does is matter?
got mine directly from the official ksger store on aliexpress, had to wait a few weeks before I could use it. unfortunately, it was pretty much DOA and cant make a dispute as its too late. i have contacted them with no response. The station just keeps on power cycling when u plug in the iron. I saw another video with a similar issue so I've bought another t12 iron hoping that will fix it. the station itself seems glitchy as sometimes it freezes and i have to manually restart it. I've double checked all the wires inside the station and the iron and nothing seems to be out of place. anyone have any ideas?
I noticed in the menu and on the control PCB that Pump was mentioned. Is there also a version of this with a solder pump?
