How did your tool of choice hold up?
I have recently received my 958 wrench set... I think I made the Wright choice.

You must have started out measuring in in.lbs. instead of ft.lbs theres just no way you could have applied hundreds of ft.lbs of torque with a 5 inch wrench by hand.
A tool that changes shape is not the same tool that you started with. I would rather have a hard tool that maintains its tolerances with repeated use and breaks rather than bends when it fails. I have puked small wrenches with my bare hands, but if they bend, I don't know if they can be trusted not to cause unnecessarconsistent anything from Martin Tools in your trial.

have you compared the Husky SAE or metric Long-Pattern Universal Combination Wrench Set (10-Piece). I like it because It appears VERY legible, but I want to see how those teeth hold up.

A test showing which brand wrench fits tightest on a nut or bolt with both the open end and box end. I find a lot of cheaper wrenches tend to damage or round nuts/bolts off

This was like comparing apples to walnuts.. long short, thin, thick. The premium brands have many different models of wrenches depending on what you need. That's why pro mechanics use them. A mechanic usually has 5, 6 or more sets of wrenches for different applications. They may need stubby or thin wrenches for tight areas. If you're a homeowner that just needs to tighten a lawnmower blade, one set will do ya. Of course the cheap brand will do better with a cheater bar than a premium lowprofile wrench. I have probably 9 sets of wrenches.. but when I need a to work on something critical and expensive you better believe I'm reaching for my Mac over Pittsburgh. Less chance of stripping the head off or busting my knuckle. For many other jobs.. the cheap ones will do. I won't be out a lot if I loose one. If you put similarly speced wrenches against each other the premium one will almost certainly shine.
Give me a wrench that bends over one that snaps any day....

The test while nice to see box end wrenches would never see that much force constantly they have torque wrenches and breaker bars for that sort of fastening or loosening application great vid by the way . .... Bear I didn’t see you test that icon line from the freight

And that's why I use craftsman. When I worked for sears and I warranted wrenches the teeth were always broken on the 12 point ones iv never had to warranty a 6 point one so I have 6 point ones

I think someone needs to do the math to figure out the actual differences in torque delivered to the fixture before failure to really compare the strength. The long one at the end most definitely delivered the most, but it should be quantified. I'm not smart enough.
Given a that hand tools are designed to resist the sort of force a human being can put on them that press is ridiculously over-powered for this. Consider that even 500 Newtons (the right unit for force and roughly 50 kg force) is quite a lot for a human to impose then, with a 40 cm lever, that's 200 Newton-metres of torque, or about double that need for the average car wheel nut. Putting even one ton (about 10,000 Newtons) on a 40 cm lever is simply enormous.

We snapped 3 of those 1/2" breaker bars with a 3' pipe trying to remove a cylinder spacer bolt on one of our injection presses. They arent that strong lol
