Would be useful focal range. Hard to justify though, when the Sigma 18-35 is way, way brighter and sharper. You could always get the 10-18 for places it wouldn't reach.
There is a cine version of the same lens. Does anybody know if there is a significant difference between the two?
Why would you review an SLR lens on a mirror less camera via an adapter, then complain that is has issues? That’s like setting your house on fire and then complaining that it’s hot.

Hi, When I go for 12 mm ,even my lense's all side view also showing on the visual .I removed the lenshood as well but still the same . When it goes to 16 mm ,it is fine . Do you know how can I solve this please ?

Yes they do but on a d800 or 5dmk3 such affordable lenses will be a bottleneck you will not get the max out of the sensor on the d800 with such lenses why put a diesel engine in your porsh

any nikon mount lens will fit on any nikon camera, and the nikon 12-24mm f4 is about $1,200 the tokina is about $400

A few months ago I bought a used one in Nikon mount on Ebay for about 260 US Dollars. It's definitely worth the price and a great bargain in APS-C ultra wide angle lenses. I also like the popular 77mm filter size. I use polarizers and ND filters.
Was a nice lens but tokina 11-16 f2.8g and dx2 version is better choice if you want to shoot some astrophotography.Currently i bought the tokina 11-20 f2.8g and i can tell is the best of all review
