hello, my rear skewer broke. It looks like the frame sliced it off. I bought a new one and same thing, it sliced it off. Should the tire be resting on the skewer? Or maybe my frames cricked

absolutely hate these things. Have always had regular bolts and felt safe. Well nowadays I put 80 cc motors on my bikes. (Most of them) recently I acquired a free 200 dollar schwinn 26 inch and it’s a very rare bike. Nice solid bike and light. It has these quick releases. The bike is heavier with the motor and gas tank so this needs to be right or I may not be around to tell how the build went lol I can’t seem to get mine up high enough. The middle maybe, just looks off. My intuition tells me NO don’t ride yet it’s wrong here we go

what type of hubs did you convert? is it loose ball bearing or sealed bearing hubs?
I have a question, currently I have a bolted threaded rear hub with threaded sprocket attached on it. I wanted to use a a cassette 7 speed freehub on it, but my question is, is it doable to use a quick release hub and replace its QR with my current bolt?
How about a ball bearing hub replace with sealed bearings? will it fit?
