I'm looking for suggestions/ recommendations. I have a four year old desk top that has several standard USB-A ports. I'm looking at purchasing a SSD external hard drive that supports USB- 3.2 Gen 2 transfer speeds. Is there a hub that would allow me to connect a standard USB-A plug into my Desk Top on one end and the SSD on the other to give me the 3.2 Gen 2 transfer speeds?

after watching this video im interested in the VAVA but what I kept pondering is, does this hub NEED to be plugged into an outlet (since it has the DC In) or can the PD cable connect straight to my laptop so i can charge whatever i connect to my hub? thanks to however can help.
