Bought this for my APS-C camera a few years back thinking I would upgrade to full frame. Should have just got a Canon EF-S 15-85mm. I really do love the f/2.8 but this lens is heavy and 1.6x crop is not great on this range

I am not a professional ?Ѐㄱ but I like to take professional looking photos. I needed a nice zoom lens to use for indoor sporting events (swimming). It worked fantastic and I know it will be even better outdoors in natural light. I am very happy with this lens, it is a great deal for the price.

Hidden benefit of this lens: it's so easy to like so you won't need to clean your sensor because you won't want to take the lens off.

Warning to all who use Canon DPAF for video. This lens pumps focus back and forth when hunting for focus. Very noticeable. Canon lenses do not do this.

well i have an old camera it's a canon 400d 10.1 megapixel and it came with the tamron 18-200 and it's alright but i believe i need a much better lens that's all. i want a camera that's good in low light and a camera with 20 or more megapixels. i really like tamron but the camera i bought doesn't record video so i want another camera body and i was told to get a full frame camera and a canon 80d so i will have 2 camera bodies and 4 lens 2 for each camera body. but i want to get a solid camera lens first and then save up my money to buy a full frame camera

Hi Bill, I wrote in your other video the other day about receiving m50 and moving from Fujifilm. I like it, good dynamic range and am looking into adapting. Originally, my plan was to build kit starting with Sigma 30 f1.4, to the 16 1.4 and grab a 50 1.8 nifty to cover the main ranges. I have seen wonders of the 24-70 canon for variety of situations and only found out Tamron / Sigma both have sale now with Tamron 24-70 G2 being $1350 from $1999 CAD/ The new Sigma Art 24-70 zoom is too bulky and heavy For someone wanting to shoot fashion photography, portraits, food and just all-around including events, would you rather the zoom or the 3 primes?
