There were versions of this lens in Nikon F mount with aperture ring. They must be pre-2000s. They should be great for adapting, I have a FUJI X-T10 and using all my old Nikon mount lenses.
How Would it work on a cannon Eos 60D?

I'm surprised you wouldn't take the X-T1 with 18-135mm on vacation instead. WR would be useful. I'm certain the Fujinon glass is superior to that old Tamron.
I really appreciate the review and the beautiful imagery but the poor talking-in-the-bathroom sound is off-putting. Surely there must be room for a pro mike considering the 90.000 subscribers?
I am using this Lens with a Canon 70D . I was expecting to use this Lens for fast Wildlife Photography and Sport shots. I am totaly disapointed. At the range of 300 mm the focusing system is so slow that it is impossible to take sharp fotos from birds in flight by 1/2000 or fast moving persons (Sport). In 7 frame/s the Autofokus is to slow resulting of alot of missed shots. It tried alot of settings but i couldn't find the right option for sharp and fast situation ! In this case the Kit lens of Canon 18-135 mm is dooing a better Job.The biggest advantage is the compact design so it is very confortable to take on travel.

A Sony a-mount version of this lens doesn't offer Vibration Compensation because it interferes with the sensor stabilization of sony a-mount cameras. This is common with all Tamron and Sigma a-mount lenses that are designed with image stabilization.
Want this lens I both Canon and Nikon Mounts. If there is a Sony mount version that would be great
Would this be a good economy lens for shooting surfing? Average surf zone distance from shooting point is : 150 yards...Also i like canon cameras, whats a good DSLR thats compatible with tamroms 28 300mm ? The small size (in reality it's smaller than it appears in the video) and light-weight of this lens is deceiving, but it delivers the goods..!! Thanks again..

i have this lens for my sonys...i paid 849.00 when it first came out, now the price is 599.00 and it has a great image....the nikon cost 949.00 but i do not know how good the image is, do you know?...i also had Tamrons first generation of this lens which i sold and bought the newer model and this one is better.....thanks for the review....
I have used the super zoom full frame Tamron 28-300mm α-mount with the Sony LA-EA4 a-mount to e-mount autofocus adapter on a Sony full frame α7 camera. The autofocus isn't impressively fast but is fast enough and accurate. Also the lens doesn't have VC Vibration Compensation because it is designed for α-mount cameras which have sensor stabilization. I preferred the Tamron 28-300mm instead of the Sony FE 24-240 because I am interested more on the 300mm than the 24mm. The 28mm is wide enough too.

Where can i find a video,or even photos (each stage photos,which i didnt take unfortunately)on how to work my way back because in my case the fungal material and dust had collected in the inner lenses ,managed to disassemble.the inner zoom assembly and cleaned the lenses nice.The hell is finding my way back.please any one?
