hi man i brought these based on your reviews i dunno if its my unit the subs make a weird humming noise at certain low end frequencies do you have the same problem? it mostly happens during tool songs especially right in two should i replace them ?
can you suggest a good quality bluetooth receiver for this speaker? the ones i found on amazon india and flipkart had complaints of sub-standard audio quality. thanks.

How do these compare against Swans D-1010-IV?
Swans M10 I got it at SGD88. The sound is worth at least SGD500. Very bassy and clear, sounded like a very good audiophile bass. Vocal wise it won't shout like Audiophile, but it's more than good enough. I paired it with a good DA. For voice get the 200 and above.

Been using them since last 4 yearsthey are awsome! I have a Panasonic TV which has both 3.5 mm audio port and a coaxial digital audio port. Shall I buy fiio D03K to connect it to coaxial port? Will there be any improvement in sound quality over plugging it directly to 3.5 mm port. Also I have FiiO E10k. can I use it in the above case or do I have to buy D03K? Please reply

Thanks for the honest and balanced review. I appreciate you telling it straight. Because I am low on desk space and already have nice headphones for audiophile listening I decided to pass and go with something more high volume and bassy. I'll look at the Logitech model and others.

Bose is too much overhyped. Swans, Polk audio, etc are the best. And to be honest these deserve a good DAC like the SCHIIT magna-modi
Brosorry for misunderstanding i don't know its woodenany way i want to know then which is better in between f&d and this in all bass. clear sound when i play higher most important value for money in this two brands

Swans HiVi is a great brand to buy specially in India. It's way better than sony, samsung, LG etc mainstream audio company. Currently I am using Swans HiVi M200A which I bought some 2 years back from Proaudiohome. I connected it with my DTH with RCA and when ever it needed I connect it with TV through Bluetooth and stream OTT. It's pleasure for your ears. You can imagine it's quality by its solid body and weight. Damn good purchase.

Bass seems decent clear
I had one for a year. Looks simple but the sound is very close to audiophile.vocals are throathy and very realistic. Played EDM it can rumble and shake like high quality car audio. But of course I'm using audiophile quality AMP. Superb brand, had the 50mk3 previously too but sold it.

bro u got it al wrongjust attach it to your desktop or a hd set top box for ur cable will just blow u upthe sound is so true and for all u ppl who say it dozent have bass U ALL ARE WRONG i bet u cant even use the 60% bass of it unless u are comparing it with the logitech z-623 which has only boom boom and no quality sound. swans m-10 are the best speakers in a price beacket of 250 usd no other speaker even comes close to it. yes u get a less output if u use a 3.5mm jack directly to the mobile phonesthis will dissappoint u as the out put will be lower HERE. close your eyes and just go for these. i have wasted a lot of my time resea rching and hence helping u ppl to make a quicker and a better decision.
nicee, maybe do more of these affordable range tech products. the top end stuff is fun but the more affordable ones are good for us trying to find cheaper alternatives hehe keep it up!

That scratching noise on the volume knob might be something specific to your pair, as I don't have that noise on my pair. :)

Hi Joshua, the issue with your front volume control sounds like it may be slightly out of place. I've seen it happen before. If it only grinds on the left hand side try pushing the knob gently towards the right. This should resolve the grinding sound completely.
