I'm sure these sound good, but good luck getting a pair. LOL. Swans American website doesn't even function properly (can't add anything to the cart!), and I've heard it's a nightmare getting in contact with customer service. Dang shame.
Edifier does a much better job than Swans/HiVi at selling its speakers in Canada through Amazon. 😎👍
I'm interested in those. I've built the Swan 2ways and 3ways I listen with a tube pre-amp. I find myself always listening to the 2ways
While doing business in China I had brought around 5 or 6 pair of swan speaker including d1080iv, m200, h5, 1030, etc, all have quality issue after some time, tweeter problem, amplifier failure, some problem shows up around 2 or 3 months, and most did not last more than 1 or 2 years. the sound is ok but not great, a passive speaker and separate amplifier at similar price gave more somehow, however hivi/ swans did very good all in one package in such cheap price to offer.
Aren't those sold in black only? How can I buy the wood finished speakers?
How does the sound of D1090 compare to the M300 and there is a new D300 too? I currently have Edifier S2000. I like stronger mids for distortion guitar , voice and drums.
Key words: "Have great mid range". Many audio devices like headphones are V shaped with no mids but the general public associates those with clarity. :)

D1010ivb in my country have bt5.0 remote and dsp.
have you tried for nearfield 2 large speakers on the floor ( not "towers" ) and 2 smaller ones on the desk ? i did this today, bigger ones ware bouncing in the desk and floor ( both wood ), smaller ones ware too "in your face" ( i think that's the word ) and lacking bass, i turned the bigger ones 180 degree ( cause they're rear ported ) to sort of use them like subwoofers. i realised this 4.0 fixes most of my sound problems. i use digital volume for both and knob for the small ones. EQ dip at the upper-bass ( 125 500 and especially 250 Hz )
i think the company behind swan made those teac 265 you liked so much a few years ago, still got mine here

I've owned a pair of the D1010 IV Bs for a couple of years or so. Yes, that's B for Bluetooth. They're hissy and I'm not overly enamoured of the sound.

@Z Reviews any chance of reviewing the avantone Planar? American Made, claims to be neutral and I only see one good review online, but I have bought a few of your recommended and loved them, so I trust your reviews more.....
If these are Mk. IV, I got them back in 2018 for $99 on Amazon. For Sub-100 they're not bad, I use them as office speakers on shitty 2" stands. No-Audiophile gave them a decent review and that was good enough for me.
