Pcloud tracks meta data, so your encryped portion is still able to be tracked. They also mistakenly ban paid in full accounts for inaccurate file hash matching of copy write. Imagine loosing everything you have in a storage that you have already paid for because the REAL owner of the storage pegs you for a pirate because they have horrible metrics. I use Nextcloud because I own the storage.
I like the pcloud service. Sounds good. But for long term use I've chosen to build my own cloud storage with 50TB. It's cheaper in the long term.
Privacy
I don’t agree with any of this. Besides, reading some numbers on how much you get to free and all this bullshit, did you use it? I’m talking about using it daily with all kinds of files, sharing, deleting, rewinding, using the office suite, sending a large file, uploading a large file, etc. Because of these fucked up videos on all types of products, I end up spending lots of money taking your opinions, while all of you use Google Drive because you don't do shit on it except backing up a photo and waiting 8 hours for a video to sync. Best!
Google drive sucks when someone shares a video it's a pain in a ass you can't pause files . To Me mega works flawlessly you are allowed to pause anything any time easy to use interface and file encryption as well

You really need to explain the distinction you are trying to draw between E2EE and Zero knowledge encryption. In the context of cloud storage, they basically mean the same thing. E2EE is usually used in the context of communication services like voice or chat. Both terms basically mean that the service provider doesn't have the private key. But you are clearly drawing a distinction between them, so you must be using a less common definition of E2EE and I spent the whole video wondering if perhaps you just mean that the services use TLS to secure your connection with the service. But if that was what you meant, then that wouldn't be what most people call E2EE. Aside from the encryption issue, you really didn't go into any depth. You spent too much time on whether you personally liked the UI rather than either talking about the actual features, or showing concrete advantages or disadvantages of the UI if they are really an issue. Btw, WTF is "Zero knowledge policy"? That sounds like marketing nonsense. Google Drive does not have zero knowledge encryption and they do share data with US government agencies. So I don't know what you were talking about.
To me the MOST important feature is that I can send someone a file and they can get it WITHOUT having to sign up for the service. Lately they started requiring someone to sign up for the service. A disturbing new trend. If they don't sign up they can't see a whole folder of photos only seperate download links. If I sent a folder of 20 photos they would have to download each file.
I have ADHD and it's usually really hard for me to sit through these videos even though I need the information. Even big YouTubers have lost their touch to keep me paying attention, in all honesty. So a job well done! I'll definitely look at your other videos and see if I'll subscribe.
mega is great I've been using it for 5 years and it's very accessible both on PC and on the phone, its interface on both platforms is one of the best in addition to its synchronization which is practical for me, the only thing that fails is that it can't be played the videos on the web but on the phone or using the application for pc works, I recommend it
