I have a Sony xperia and need to get a new screen..I need the model # in order to purchase this screen..but I'm having a really hard time figuring out the model...I need help please
Came here after the announcement for the new xperia compactI had this phone and it was probably my favourite smartphone I ever owned.
This phone sucked as hell I got one and it just destroyed by itself to much Laggy errors lol.
I use this phone as my music device.

i got 2 of them.one has random button pushing when texting+no signal/no service every other day.second one has random restarts,part of screen not working at all,and when calling someone,you just cant hear anything at all although the call is still active.dissapointment:(
For 4.6 screen, on screen home button makes no sense. I will never consider buying phones with onscreen buttons.

If one of two cons for a mini/compact phone is "relatively small display", then it really is not a con, as it is supposed to be smaller.Thaks Ray for yet another great phonearena review!

what are you talking about ? battery on xperia z1 {normal , not compact} was wery good, so why are you talking that z1c is first good battery sony flagship ?

Own this phone. It's amazing. I've been clocking amazing battery performance and it has a hell lot of horse power for everything. Love the sony skin, coming from Samsung it feels nice and light. :D And good review.
I do have this phone since february and it is just a great phone and still worthy of the "mini" (compact) Name!I am still impressed how well the battery performs. This truly is one of the best Smartphones of the last years!

s3 mini user here. i prefer smaller phones and not much in terms of portability AND power when i bought it. well hopefully sony is starting a new trend of smaller high end phones.
I own a Xperia Z and my partner has bought the Z1 compact, it's amazing I'm really impressed and will buying one as soon as my contact is up for renewal if not a newer version, either way I'll be staying with Sony.

@C4ETechI am a heavy gamer I use more than 50 apps and games. Can these apps and games be moved to micro sd card since storage is only 16gb?

so z1 compact,z2 or nexus 5?.....i like the nexus 5 for speed and fludity but the battery isnt as good,but the z2 isnt as smooth as the n5...hmmmm

Hello Ranjit. I really like this phone. I went to a mall and got my hands on it and i was very happy with it. the only thing which bothered me is when i checked the ram usage of the phone in the mall it displayed only 762 mb of free ram. Ranjit, i saw your full review of Xperia Z and you have showed that it has 1.2 gb of free ram. would you please upload a video regarding the free ram of the z1 compact?
