l am break sony m5 sim. radder what can l do for solve
overall is a decent phone i bought * i don't want say bad to my Sony m5 but battery life really suck .camera day light good but low light just average than other smartphone at that range
I have purchased Sony Xperia M5 dual handset and facing alot of problems like heating hanging. But the main problem is it have 23.5 mp rear camera I.e. dslr doesn't capture far images than 2 meters. it get blurred. I submitted it to your service Centre Niralanagar Lucknow. They changed my motherboard. But when I come to the point on camera they said that it's Cemera is as same . It can't be fixed. Now I'm going to file a case against Sony. It's the worst brand ever.

hey i bought this two days ago and found it troublesome. it kept restarting every 10 mins (i had updated it and it went wrong the day after). i don't know but this phone overheated easily even i didn't use it (because of restarting automatically). i took it back to the shop. how disappointing

I have the Sony Xperia M4 Aqua and the SD Card is different to the M5 didn't think the M5 had much difference but 1:00 into the video I notice the usb charger port is at the bottom and there's a tray for the SD card think they may have solve the problem with the Sony Xperia M4 Aqua and the SD card not staying in and always popping out. I've always had Sony phones and I'm thinking of getting this on GiffGaff so cheap to pay monthly is it worth getting this phone as a replacement/upgrade to my Sony Xperia M4 Aqua, only getting it for 18 months so by the time the contract up a new Sony phone would be out? Just need some positive comments, seen positive ones so far on the internet. Also please check out my channel!

The white colour in my opinion looks cheap. The gold looks really feminine. The black looks shiny and premium, I'd recommend buying this phone in black.

are you sure your lens is clear when take that clouded(washed out) image? cause i find M5 is pretty clear in its photo and never had that white or washed out image.

Mine's System UI keeps shutting down
Having owned this phone for over a year, the problems i have had are as follows__ the camera can take a while to focus on really close objects. The wifi can be a pain logging into public networks as it seems that you almost have to log into them everytime you use them but not always , even saved networks can jump in and out of connection , the battery used to last ages, almost 2 days with minimal use but the battery seems to drain very fast now even when not in use, so it may be a fault with an app and not the phone, The 16gb memory is always running out so get a good micro sd card, mine is 64gb but a lot of my apps such as Facebook cannot be transferred to the sd card_._. But on the whole this is a very god phone that takes great pictures and videos and as i only paid 200 pounds it was well worth the money, but i may go back to a samsung or keep this as a spare phone if i cant sort out the battery problem which is built into the phone

how is battery life
I have this phone and I'm having problems with transferring files from my PC via a USB cable. I guess it's because of allowances. Can't copy my music to memory card. (Even AirDroid doesn't work.) Anyone is having the same problem?
I've had mine not even 6months it lags and shuts off by itself.

I just bought it on October 28, 2016. I tried it at night because I was already exhausted from traveling. So after 2 minutes of using, the phone is already a bit hot. I was starting to get worried. I was just opening the messaging application and viewed other functions. I did not use internet, wifi, camera, video or games. I didn't even put sim cards in it. Then, I tried to play the FM radio and after a few hours, the battery got drained. The next morning, I turned on the phone and noticed it is just 1%, so I turned it off and charged it. To my surprise, it gets hot by just charging it! I tried charging other phones like ASUS and ALCATEL while turned off using their own respective chargers and none of them got warm. I called the Sony Service Center and I asked them if I can replace the item and how many days it will take and if there is an available replacement. The lady replied the generic response, "The OIC is not around, I can not answer any of those questions." Even I just asked for their cellphone number, she replied the same thing. So, I asked for her phone number and her voice tone changed like she was angry and she said the number very fast so that I couldn't take note of it. She even told me that overheating is JUST NORMAL for octa core phones. SO that means they already know the issue and SONY just keep on selling those items? It is so ridiculous. I asked if I can just have a refund and she said no and I also asked if I could have a replacement of another phone which has the same price and she again said no as the only available option is the replacement of the same item. I am worried that it may take several months to solve this issue and that the phone has already been overused or experimented. I have been a user of Sony from PSP, camera, and a previous phone and I really am so disappointed in Sony Xperia. The product is not that cheap and they are giving the customers a cheap experience. I really wanna cry due to frustration. I am now traumatized of using Sony products. If there have been a lot of issues in Xperia phones, why do they keep on selling it?
