Maybe I missed this in the video, so could you clarify the following: 1) When the headphones (drivers) are only powered by the 3.5mm jack cable (i.e. switched off at the cup power button), is sound quality similar compared to when they're switched on with the 3.5mm jack cable still plugged in? Ignoring the obvious change from an absence of ANC when the headphones are switched off. I don't intend to use ANC much if at all (I only consume media in my study-mancave-office, not outdoors). Thanks.

Don't use cheap headphones cuz the have constant buzzing sound which will cause hearing and memory loss. Instead do a one time premium buy, go for premium audio brands like sony, bose, JBL, etc. I personally own these headphones by which I can tell that these headphones are just awesome.

I bought WH-XB 700 headphones two days back. I am facing some issues and i am not understanding whether this is an headphone issue or phone issue 1. i have activated my google assistant but while calling someone, i am not able to hear the ringtone at first. In the mobile i have to select speaker option and then bluetooth and then i am able to hear the ringtone and the person's voice. Why is it happening like that? 2. Whenever i am on google meet and if there is some notification on my mobile, the google assistant says notification from so and so app and then the google meet audio gets disconnected when meeting is going on. I have to rejoin the meeting. Are these headphone issues or my mobile issue? I am using Moto Z play

Got these headphones. Use them to cancel noise when I jam on my drumkit and they are awesome. Only complaint is that the charging cable could be waaaay longer.

don't lie about the sound quality please. the 1000 model looked amazing, felt premium and they were so comfortable, but the sound was horrible .. at least horrible for this price..
Super let down, coming from head shaking mdr xb700 with fiio amp. These xb900n are boring and are not bass head worthy. I’ve had some beats v2 that were more fun. Too quiet under max settings and eq. I only paid 130 but nope another bust. Sad when old 100$ Sony headphones are now upwards of 500 cause they WERE good back in the day.
When I press the noise cancelling button it tells me the time instead of adjusting to the environment. It's really annoying me.

Rating:9/10 These headphones are amazing for streaming movies and series due to the extra bass feature, which is their main use to me. You couldn't pay me to trade these for the xm3/4, they provide a much better all around-use experience. You can fine tune the equalizer and save presets for different uses such as listening to music or watching movies. Highly recommend using with tech that supports Dolby Atmos. Works wonderfully on my note 8. My phone has some nice sound enhancing options that make the listening experience that much better. If using on windows 10 there are sound enhancement options like being able to fine tune bass by specifically tuning decibel level to specific Hz levels. When you find the sweet spot and watch a movie with Dolby Atmos it literally feels like you're hearing a full high end 3-D surround sound system with skull rattling bass. the only downside to these headphones is that the noise cancelling seems a little lacking. It works well enough to make a serious difference but a lot of mid to high volume sound will get through.

I just bought these for $123.99. Hell of deal. I hope my wife likes them, because that's what she's getting for Christmas lol. Of course, that's not all she's getting.
Totally disagree. I had a pair of these, I bought them for €135 brand new. The noise cancelling is poor. The noise isolation is very poor. I think it's probably to do with the big cussions letting in noise. I've since sold them. The bass is too heavy and lazy. The Wh-h910n are better in every way.
Just picked up a pair of these but haven't opened them yet. Any idea on if you can use them to make a phone call on iPhones?
