Dear Jay. Thanks for the video. You are my go to reviewer. I am trying to decide between the Sony 35 f1.8 OSS and the 28 f2 for my wife. She has an A6300. Does the 28mmf2 work well on APSC? The only reason is that we might buy a FF body in a few months. But A6300 will still be her primary Cam.

I’ve got this exact set up. With the UWC it definitely loses sharpness a bit. Stil, it’s cheap so nevermind, but I’d still rather a wide angle samyang, better package. Or even better, just get the 16-35 F4, sharper and more versatile
Buy once or cry twice. You should have just invested the money in a 16-35mm f/4 lens. Such a better option. You could have purchased a used copy 16-35 for less money than this ghetto setup. Stupid decision and I never understand cheap ass people that try and save a few bucks.
that wide angle converter takes the image quality down a lot.

For the 28mm just get a step-up ring and use the Heliopan filter again. Buy a cheap ebay lens hood that screws into the Heliopan's filter thread and you're set. You'll get both for $10 including shipping.
Beautiful shots! Sounds like a great travel lens combo. A question, i saw others using this conversion lens with crazy distortion in video. Can this be corrected when shooting in video mode or did you have to fix the lens distortion in post? Because when I look at your footage it doesn't look so distorted.
