Terrible product. My second Sony headset with broken swivel hinge. Poorly made. If you want headphones with great sound which lasts 3 months only I would recommend it. Never sony again.
I'm only here to let anyone thinking about buying these know that I'm on my 4th pair and each of them had a broken swivel after regular use. The plastic band that holds the ear cup also cracks easily and eventually breaks. It seems to be a common issue with the MDR line. You're better off looking at the WH line of headphones.
These headphones are a terrible case of planned obsolescence. Had one for 2 years and a few weeks, when the swivel hinge broke for no apparent reason. A lot of people reported the same experience just after the mandatory 2-year guarantee expired. A highly suspicious coincidence. Thank you, Sony. After more than 10 years of using Sony products, I am now looking for a different manufacturer.
Love how the cons have nothing to do with the headphone's overall selves meaning it makes them perfect.
actually, they charge fine from a power brick. I've used on for mine for like 6 months now with no issues. these headphones are awesome.
Don't buy them, battery is rubbish and you will end up going to warranty. Design is flawed as well, does not stay well on head, brittle plastic.

Good or bad does not matter. They brake really easily, so did mine after 3 months or so. I was rather careful. The reviewer says they look light, and they are.
