I bought this tv today for £475
What a pathetic design. For one its pretty thick panel OLED. The stand is ridiculous the TV is Leaning backwards sony has really messed up on this one

I spent £1200 on a Sony Bravia smart tv in 2015 and I hate it it's rubbish. If I wanted to connect something to HDMI on screen watermarks will appear it's so annoying it comes on every 1 minute

We have had our k55 since January 2018 beautiful tv and picture and the screen burn in is awful, dark circler patch in the middle and burn lines everywhere. Thankfully Sony are making it good by replacing it with the AG9.

Good review, informative and factual rather than pure opinion. The 55 inch will have to come down in price quite a bit before I can purchase it though it is still far too premium priced for my pocket

I know, it's my fav model, but the 55" @ $4000 is way too much when I can get a LG 55 C6 with 3D for $1500! I has no issues with it except the ugly remote and I only use my Atmos system (that I paid gud money) for wasting the Sony's $1000 brilliant panel , for $4000, I can get a LG 55 AND 65 C6.
So this isn't the xbr version?

We did buy the A9g 4 months ago. It is replace it another oled tv we have had for around a year. The other brand oled went to the bedroom. After four months and with two tv’s I can compare I can say the Sony is the more realistic picture. Not that the other has a bad picture but uses enhanced colors and smoothness setting to achieve the picture. The Sony sound on the other hand is great. It is like having a sound bar connected. Highs are in your face and voice is clear and up front. The base with the build in small subs is vary clean and is has a noticeable bass. Kind of fill’s in the mid range and base. The sound comes strait out of the screen as they had stated. The Operating system is quick and has so far no delays. I’m a Apple person so the OS was a little tricky at first. Updated the TV in December and now has Apple TV which down loaded with no issues. And works as good as my Apple TV box I was using on the other tv. The remote is great. Get a rubber case from Amazon and get it on the remote asap. I dropped the remote and you know the cover flys off and the batteries end up under the couch. The remote dent easily given it is made from metal. Stainless or aluminum . Not sure which. Used ARC to my new Bose surround sound system and yes it works great. Whole house complaining the tv is too loud. Its working. Last thing to mention is Sony gives you a app that basically will walk you thru the setup and other facts about the product. The owners manual really doesn’t have much. The app will get you where you need to be. Four months Knock on wood and everything is great. Hope this helps.

I still have a 720p TV. It is also not smart either which means: When I turn it on it just runs! No pop up or Android menu just TV. You should try sometime as well.
What is ur opinion on Lg Gx vs this Sony Master? I love the look of LG being flushed to wall and wondering if you have seen the Sony master mounted on the wall and if so does it look pretty close to the wall? Thanks for ur thoughts
