Hi Kyle Taggart! LOL Thanks for posting this video. So below I have a long question. I completely understand if you don't respond. I am looking for a solid telephoto lens for my a6300 but I am wringing my hands on what to choose. It will be a great addition to my gear. I have the 16-50 kit lens, Pergear 25mm prime, and the truly amazing Sigma 16mm 1.4. A telephoto would help finish out my gear list. I was leaning towards the Tamron 75-300mm because of price and weight. See my conundrum below. Again, thanks for all your videos which have sealed the deal on what gear I should be getting. Regarding the Tamron 75-300mm on the a6300. I have read and watched lots of great reviews on this lens. Howeever, I am concerned that it doesn't have any stabilization which would really impact shots at 300mm and the higher aperture doesn't really work for low light shots. I think it would work ok for moon shots on a tripod but I don't plan on doing any low light portraits or sports shooting. I plan on using it for moon shots, landscapes, outdoor closeups and architecture mostly. Moonshots would be a big bonus IMHO. Do you think it is worth getting? On the other hand, the Tamron 28-200 might be better for low light and more versatile but still no stabilization. The Sony 70-350 is $100 off at the moment but it's still $400 more than the Tamron 75-300 with the same large aperture, but I'm debating whether that amount is worth it just for stabilization. I do plan on upgrading my a6300 to a new Sony body that has a reticulating screen and IBIS like the new A7C but only when the price drops. I read that the Tamron works really well on Sony with IBIS so it might be worth getting it for now to use on my a6300 before I upgrade. I appreciate any advice. Thanks!

I got one for $100. Open box. Never used. Crazy. I actually love it. I think it's WAY underrated. I am using it a lot on a documentary I'm currently working on, and it's working so well for me. On the a6400, even when I crank up the ISO, it produces great shots in low light. But for daytime stuff, yeah. it's awesome. I feel like it has great character. Doesn't feel like a compromise at all when I use it. Thanks for the awesome review.

Would do you recommend this lens for videography at a high school football game? If not, what is a comparable but better option? My camera: Sony A6000
Bought this lens as my first Zoom lens for my A6000. Has really delivered, however, it would have needed 100mm extra for wildlife. I now have a Sony 70-350mm which feels like a natural step up from this Lens.

I got one for $100. Open box. Never used. Crazy. I actually love it. I think it's WAY underrated. I am using it a lot on a documentary I'm currently working on, and it's working so well for me. On the a6400, even when I crank up the ISO, it produces great shots in low light. But for daytime stuff, yeah. it's awesome. I feel like it has great character. Doesn't feel like a compromise at all when I use it. Thanks for the awesome review.
