Man, practice your PTCs more. You have a good image but you feel unnatural. Appearing 100% natural is difficult I know. Practice or get someone (good) to direct you.
John i bought this lens but i'm quite disapointed in the sharpness/quality. For a lens that costs €650 you would expect more. Images i shoot are often quite or even really soft/out of seems like a real challenge to get decent images out of this. where when i use my sony f1.8 50mm the images come out hair sharp and in focus almost every time. Got any tips on this or do you know what i might be doing wrong? I shoot animals BTW.
Is this suitable for a6000?
I have the original big silver version. It’s larger and heavier for a reason; more glass=better optics. Oh, and it matches my silver a6000 perfectly too!

Hi, I have a problem with the zoom. If I put 200mm and put the lens up, it goes all down and I can't lock it. Does anyone have any solution for this problem?
I really love this lens is my all in one. I can't say is best lens i have but is all in one, u dont need to worry about change for zoom or short lens. Work very well in full zoom and is not heavy. So good to walking around. Im really happy and he fit perfect on hand. Buy it 2 months ago and i never change again. (a6000)
There seems to be a color difference between the photos taken by the two lenses. Was there just different lighting conditions when you took the photos or is it a performance difference between the lenses?

I have these two lens to, as well as 3 other including the SELP18105g. The SEL18200 is the one always with me, probably the most overlooked lens in E-Mount, very versatile for any conditions, nice bokeh in long range, excellent OSS for movie. Only downsize is the price tag.

Is the white balance between the two change as you switch lenses or is that truly how the lenses render color? The kit lens is very blue and the 18-200 is very warm and I noticed that you shot both in RAW.

Of all my eMount lenses, this one gets the most use. First extra (non-kit) lens that I bought years ago for my NEX5 and now use it on my a6000 and a6300. Very versatile, sharp and has an ideal focal length range to be an all-in-one travel lens. For photos I prefer it over my 18-105 or zeiss 16-70 (although they are good lenses as well).
Argh that lens hood! The guy I bought my used one from lost the hood, and it's a fortune for a piece of plastic. At 18mm any other petal hoods (outside the one made for the lens) I've tried vignette the corners unless modified. B & H has my genuine one coming.
