Thanks for posting.  My question about this dvd player is how to make it play different regions.  I live in the USA, and this won't play region one DVDs.  It is the exact same model, Sony DVPSR370 All Multi Region Zone Code DVD Player, but, out of the box, it will only play region 2 DVDs (from my collection of German DVDs).  So I am really frustrated that I can't get it to play region 1 disks.  Is there a way to enter a code?  Very frustrating.
Iam using sony dvd player but it cannot play my one of dvds and gives error as"prohibited by area limitations" please someone help me. Thanks
hey man....thanks for the review/report. it really sucks that this unit didn't have at least a dig coax out. i was going to buy one of these until i saw your video. i'm not buying a dvd player with only analog/composite outs. like you said....1990 technology!
I bought this player from Amazon and recieved it today to watch my new Australian anime DVDs. For some reason, when I put the DVD in it told me the disc couldn't play. I only got it to work once I changed the player's parental code area code from USA to the Australian setting using the number in the back of the manual. Not sure if it's because of the extremely violent content of the show? I hope I won't have to change it when I get some UK DVDs.
