i got this lens today for the el cheapo price as a lens for my spare a200 body as a have an a57 now, what people need to understand,is THIS IS A KIT LENS, in comparison to my 18-135mm the build quality is utter shyte. it is ok as a kit lens but dont expect anything amazing from it, images are sharp but not as sharp as what they could be especially at 200mm, if anyone is considering getting this as a main lens, id say save your money and get the 18-135 as i said i use kit lenses just incase

Haha yea its the 18-55 SAM lens, I've since got an external mic and you can't hear it anymore in my new vids :)

@mrPACarrier Ya all Sony SAM lenses do this, the smoother version is Sony's SSM lenses, but they cost alot more.
@jioboi Thanks man. Ya in my opinion, I think the Sony SLT line of cameras (a33,a55,a65,a77) have the best autofocus system by far of all 'DSLR's :) Still LOVING mine and I think its perfect for youtube!
