Sony RX100iii Review. Worth it in 2020?
All my works using this gear 👈😉
Why you didn't use it to record yourself? That would give clue about what it can do.
Guy that licked the camera is a moron lol
His facial expression when the guy licked the camera

DPreview Chris!
i don't like view finders on Cameras.
i'm more fascinated on how well and confidently you recorded this in such a crowded public place
This camera is the WORST for focus on video and close ups.
would this be a justifiable upgrade from HX90V? I also have A6000
That moron that licked the camera... 😂
I'd go ballistic on the POS who licked the viewfinder. Wtf
Guy in grey t shirt at 4.56 ends up being a complete dick. I could tell you weren't impressed
how to set up slowmo .? please
dont film every one in public THINK BOUT PRIVACY , dont stand in the middle w walking
je n'arrive pas a faire un arriere plan flou moi ..

Does it hunt for focus when vlogging? 🤔
thank you very much for this honest review :))
Nice and compact, well designed and takes tack sharp images with lots of color. Love it. 👍👍👍👍👍
Nice review. I think the RX100 iii has a nice sweet spot in the market. I would suggest the milestone RX100 models outside of the original are iii and vi. Rational being most features are broadly similar throughout the range, with incremental but not revolutionary changes on the feature set for the most part. The big exception to this is the lens. The iii introduced the 24-70 1.8-2.8 lens, a big step up on the previous generation. The vi introduced the 24-200 2.8-4.5 lens, trading off max aperture through the range in exchange for a considerable boost in optical zoom. I think those are the really big changes for most people unless you specifically need things like phase detection, 4k etc. So if you want value and the best lens the camera offers for portraits, RX100 iii is the sweet spot. If you want value and the most versatile lens the camera offers, RX100 vi is the sweet spot. (of course disclaimer, I specifically include "value" in the analysis because otherwise the answer will always be to buy the latest of course - they don't downgrade them over time!)
Just picked this up for $180 used. Super excited to get it in the mail and play around with it
does it have external mic ?
I have filmed all my videos with rx100 III - the only downside that i see is that you need to record audio separately.
Great review Scott! I love my RX-100 III
Can you please do a review on the canon sx620? I have one but I just want a second opinion on it. 👈😉 all my works using RX100m3. Of course still worth 🔥
Can someone with RX100 M3 advise on my question please? When I set focus by pressing shutter button halfway down, I can see blurred stripes on camera LCD, just like here: It's not a big deal for photos, since they are captured properly, but these stripes occurs in video as well - noticeable under below link when I direct camera to the floor: As I see it happens with steadyshot Active or Intelligent active - it's ok when it's Off or Standard. I noticed these things in lower lighted places, is it related to artificial lighting? Or something wrong with camera?
Thank you for the good review man. I subscribed
I have this camera but it doesn't come with microphone input. How can I improve the audio? Is there a way to plug external microphone?
hi nice review , does it have a clean HDMI? for streaming?
Perfect pocket shoot camera I can carry with me
Good review thanks
I'm interested in this camera. It's a good price atm. I just find I need zoom for the majority of photo's I take and although I've not tested the likes of the p30 Pro, I just find most phones garbage when you use even a small amount of zoom.
I love it. You can make more video how to set and shoot the nice photos. Thanks
Canon G7X MARK II OR Sony rx100 iii
I picked one up on eBay for $260, which seemed reasonable for the features and size in 2020. I have an a6400 with 18-135, but find the size and worry about an expensive camera to be an issue. But a (relatively) cheap camera I can put in my pocket has a lot of advantages. Looking forward to using it while traveling, too.
I do love the battery life also
I love this camera! Love the wide aperture and nd filter
Just got mine for 200 can’t wait to use it in a shoot
Thanks for the review! Btw how does the AF perform when recording audio? I heard in some review that it is not that great especially when filming non-human object, what do you think?
