Great video, I wanna buy this camera for mainly concert photography, what do you think it's worth it?

Bought a brand new Mark V off E-bay for $650 .....a deal I could not refuse. I have a Sony A6500 and I found that I use the Rx100V more often because I can carry it around in my pocket. The 6500 is a great camera but the best camera is the one you use and I found that because of its size and it's abilities, the Rx100 is my go to camera. 5 minute 4k is not really a big issue as while 4k is nice, the Hi def abilities of this camera makes 4k a special occasion and not a full time deal.
u telling me it only will do 6 mins of video before it shuts down if that's the case then I can't use this for edm or metal shows
wait so u can't film a whole 2 hour concert with this only 6 mins of video I kinda want this for concerts and interviews

I didn't own a camera for years.. just the odd one or two 35mm compact film cameras from 1990-2011. First digital camera I picked up was the RX100III and then it was part exchanged for a a6000 with the Zeiss 16/70 and now that's gone and now I have gone back to the RX100V and I love it! I would love Sony to make a slight larger body with an APS-C sensor plus 24-100 1.8-2.8
I just purchased the Sony RX100 V after owning Sony NEX-5R for a few years I can definitely see the improvement in autofocus. I never thought I'd be happy to own a point and shoot camera. Do you think the autofocus is better than the Sony a6000?

In regards to the audio, can you hear the camera trying to focus? I have this issue with my current camera and I HATE it! Also, what's the battery life like whilst taking videos? Nothing worse than fully charging your camera for a full day out and it's on the last battery cell by around 3pm. Great video!

Tiny tiny tiny metal bar of soap form factor. But as a stealth street shooter? Duh, are you nuts? 4K UHD for 5 minutes is not horrible. Tiny camera with no heat sink area that is pretty good. Stupid good B roll and C roll camera too. I have an a7ii and just bought a RX-10 in perfect shape for almost nothing. A $1300.00 almost for the price of a so so camera today. As you can tell I am vested in the Sony. Doesn't hurt it even takes the same batteries as my a7ii. Obviously the RX100 V will not. But on the go in a pinch shot or short smashing video, you got to be crazy to get anything else. Canon and Panasonic are in here, but dang this Sony is good. It will always be on my Joby. Just don't feel like dropping it really!

Can we stop with the 35mm equivalent, please? The lens is a 10.4 to 37.1mm lens with f1.8 to f4.9 on a 1inch sensor. Get a full-frame with a 10.4mm lens on it at f1.8 and then compare. Well, you can't, obviously, compare, it's called a false equivalency. Like saying a short person who jumps half their hight, jump the same height as a tall person jumping half their hight. Stop with the silliness, can we?
