Actually, the Aeroswift hold keys quite well in the back pockets if you turn it sideways. I've also never had an issue with gels too.
I think that you and others have far more hair than me I have to watch for sunburn as well as streaming sweat in to the eyes at this time of year. Had a HALO bandana type thing for a few years now and usually wear that if I intend to run in harsh sunshine (for at least part of the run before I overheat). Also have to be careful from getting sunburnt and blinding other runners and drivers with the shine off the top of too much bare skin on top Will check them Scimitar singlets out

My current favourite summer gear: Red Ben Parkes hat Nike Aeroswift vest Ron Hill infinity marathon shorts (has lots of pockets) standard ankle socks (that actually protect your ankles/heels, none of this invisible sock nonsense)

The pockets in the aeroswift shorts are for gel and I use them for keys, actually because the waist band is firmly pressed on your skin the content in the pocket won’t drop out as you run.

Nice one, Edd. A headband is certainly something on my radar. I’ve a lightweight vest from Nathan I use as my routes sometimes require some unprotected road running. I also have some reflective shirts. I will participate in the community survey later. ‍♂️
I've been wearing the Halo Headband for yrs. I have a big mop top so the one's that tie in the back to create that custom fit work best. Plus tie back ones don't stretch out over time. Their not 100% foolproof so I wear the double wide Nike wrist band that drummers wear. It's perfect for wiping sweat out of your eyes. The other day you paid homage to Link Wray( Father of Heavy Metal) Check out his guitar work on Robert Gordon's rendition of "Flyin' Saucers Rock & Roll" A guitar pioneer that definitely deserves more recognition.
Edd great review! - are those Nike running shorts or a loin cloth? Thank goodness I run in a base layer under mine - you'd get arrested for having your wedding vegetables on display if you came East in those shorts!
