Without actual driving footage this website is a waste of time. Suction cups do not stay on textured vinyl. A heavyish phone will break air vent vanes. Hot sun dislodges windscreen mounted suckers. There must be a better way surely, but I have yet to find it.

Wireless chargers are great things. I love my wireless charger because i can charge my phone, watch and airpods so quick and its great for battery life. My charger is from ichargers.co and they are awesome company.
my 370Z's dash is slightly textured and i cant find anything that sticks. dont want anything stucked to the window
I tend to avoid anything that suctions to my window or sticks on top of my dash as it limits my driving view. I don't recommend vents mounts as the vent itself is flimsy and can easily break. And. the thought of a sticking anything to my dash just makes me leery. iOtte and Scosche are good brands, but I prefer the ProClip Mount (not mentioned in this video) https://www.proclipusa.com/ The price point is higher than the cheap vent or suction mounts, but the product is very durable and fits the car and the phone perfectly. It's worth every penny. I've tried the cheap plastic mount once and it only lasted a week. My ProClip mount has been in my cars for more than six years.

be careful with the ones that use that gunky stuff on the bottom to hold itself. after a while the gunk will separate from the rest of it and you'll have to buy some gunk off to remove it.

How is the Scosche mount you were using? My problem is my phone is super heavy, galaxy note20 5g, & I have an otterbox which is pretty thick. I just got a magnet dash mount but I use my phone horizontally & it tilts almost falling off within minutes of driving all the time. The issue is the magnet being in my case & it's not being strong enough. So how is this one & the magnets it comes with? Does your phone hold securely horizontally while driving?

Damn, phones were small 5 years ago! I arrived here because I'm wondering how other people mount their phones. I don't have the longest spine in the world so if I mount my massive P40 Pro anywhere along the bottom of the windscreen it blocks a fair portion of my view. I've got a "suction cup" mount, and every bloody surface on my dash is curved so it won't stick anywhere except on the windscreen. Grrr..
