I had a bad luck when I tried to unscrew the head. Probably, I didn't apply enough force but I really didn't want to damage something. Can you explain how to do this correctly? Thank you.

Hello Slik, I would love these tripods however I have your Master series trip and Video tripod. The quality is so good it has never failed and they are bullet proof. I'll certainly would invest in your travel tripods in the future.

Great review! There are two more uses, that can be added - you can pan horizontally without loosening the ball head - just loosen the central column. Also, if you want to make the tripod more compact for storage or transportation (for example - when travelling with small cabin luggage on budget airlines, they limit the backpack height to 42 or 45 cm usually) you can invert the central column. That way the head stays between the legs and the tripod gets several cm shorter.
This helped tremendously since the manual that came with the tripod was so awful.  Very nice job!

@25036825 I generally take the 340ez on trips because I like the sturdyness but I bring the ball head from the sprint pro instead of the head it came with. But the height can sometimes be a problem.
